The OGAE Armenia President just was refused to take part a TV-show about the ESC 2012 on conditions that he was had to make a speech that himare against their participation, but was refused it. Apparently it is obvious the fact that most of the Armenians want to withdraw from Eurovision 2012 and are campaigning strongly for it in all their media.

They won't get their participation fee back plus there is also an additional fee though I'm not sure how much.

Armenia will take part it Baku 100%.
The only thing i am wondering is why they will release their entry the last date of deadline,18th of March.
Does this has anything to do with the song?What kind of song will be?

I think they will (or I mean I think they have the intention to be there atleast), the only thing stopping them is EBU giving in for Azeri censoring after some "lyrics police" studies the Armenian lyrics, and we'll end up with a Georgia 2009 situation. Seeing how over-sensitive some have been about hypothetical lyrics so far, lyrics which doesn't even have any clear message what so ever, I can see this scenario happening.
It'll be the same thing as with Georgia 2009: Armenia won't change the lyrics, and EBU will please the host and back down from their own rules and policies and force Armenia to withdraw.

To be quite honest, I never really expected them to follow through with their participation if the rumours are true about their withdrawal.
I'll be more surprised come the 18th if they actually do have an entry to hand over.

When will this stop? I mean Turkey and Cyprus also participate every year! Why can't people just make music without looking on the political situation?

Unfortunately politics are much more involved in this than what anyone would like, I mean the whole concept is partly political (entertainment wing of the EU basically, "bring a war-torn continent together in music").

So, what's the story here? If I understood correctly, it is possible that Armenia will give up on ESC this year because of it's beef with Azeris over the Nagorno-Karabakh? That would be such a shame. I usually like their entries. And all those weird things they put on a stage... Like a giant apricot, boxing glow. And that old looking dude. I think I'd miss that.

Propably you understood wrong,in 13th of March they will announce the song.
There is NO chanse for Armenia not to be in Baku.
