Please carefully read what I wrote! There is neither hatred nor jealousy in my words.
Here are the lyrics of that song. Though it sounds more like Pigeon English, it's still pretty straightforward and you shouldn't have any problems understanding the meaning:

Nobody prevents you from singing what you want. It is your own business. But don’t give a political or other content to the words and to the contest in whole. I think people should forget about hatred, jealousy and offence at least during the contest.

Unlike others, I understand everything very well. And I will not allow anyone to ascribe to me what I haven’t said. And what about fears and interpretations, it is not about me. Fears and interpretations have those who ask for safety guarantee for 100 times (knowing that it will be guaranteed) receive this guarantee and after receiving it again 100 times say that it is not enough. Wrong interpretations have those who cannot enjoy the music and those who are engaged in giving political sense to lyrics of songs. Sing your song if you want. Nobody prevents you from doing it.

The statement, which reads:
"We refuse to speak in a country known for mass pogroms and massacres, in a country where the damage their hatred towards the state policy level.
We call on the Public Television of Armenia refused to participate in the sending country and at the same time announce that we are now ready to take part in "Eurovision -2012" at the European Broadcasting Union decide to contest any other country where ktiri solidarity and equal competition in the atmosphere what was the last year of the "s" in which, by the way, did not take part in:

Oh c'mon, just because some artists makes these statements doesn't mean all agree.
There are similar statements made by some people, groups and parts of media in other countries aswell, should they also withdraw then?
