A-lister, I put my point of view here and I have no more interest further to discuss it with you.

And I put my point of view.

No problem with me, the discussion is kind of silly anyhow.

Re: ARMENIA 2012

Aren't we? We discuss the potential Armenian entry.

The Azeris here want it banned because it uses the words "Fire", "Always" and "Running" in a way they don't think should be allowed  (just reading this comment proves how silly some of these reactions really are).

No, I personally I do not want. How can you speak on behalf of all of us? Only Galandar wrote his objections, and that was his opinion and I do not understand why you bother?
I want them to keep it, and not to change anything.

I've only seen Galandar's and Sabiondo's response to this one, so my reaction was towards those two.

However I agree I shouldn't write "The Azeris" when I was just referring to a couple, but since that was the only reaction I saw up until your comment.

Why I should bother? Because I don't believe in censorship and especially when there's nothing to censor in the first place. That's why I bother.

Re: ARMENIA 2012

A-lister, even though in that case it was only put in (not even Putin) but in the song of Dorians "No more fire" (Land of Fire; Light you fire!), "Always is the same mistake" (Azeri entry 2009), "No more running" (Azeri entry 2011).

For me this is more than enough to say to whom their lyrics refer.

it's just called persecution complex.whatever Armenians say or do you as a rule take upon oneself.always seekig some hidden messages like in Apricot Stone.should I remind you how those
allegations ended?

Not whatever but the lyrics of the possible entry for 2012. I don't care about Apricot Stone and this is not me who is bringing this old topic back. If you have anything to say then please stick to the actual topic of your entry for 2012.

It's really hard to find something useful in this thread among all the political discussions :p

So is "This is our world" going to be :am: entry most probably?

Well, I wrote my reaction, but apparently you've missed it.

Re: ARMENIA 2012

There's always a chance for anything to be read to have subliminal (often times political) messages. But seriously though, if the song is to be performed in the same way like in the video where I could barely make out what the lyrics said, the lyrics won't be that much of a big deal.

Famous singer Tata will represent Armenia at Eurovision 2012 Song Contest, which will be held in the Azerbaijani capital Baku, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.
Eurovision’s Armenian delegation head Gohar Gasparyan said ‘His name is being circulated just as the others’ were’ .

referring the lyrics,it's a call for peace.it's simple as that :

Stop the fire
Cut the wire
People of the world
No more running
No more crying....

Why don’t we just live like people have to live...

Re: ARMENIA 2012

Qele_Armenia, yeah sure let me say that is only multiple coincidence but then I wonder how come that I can not find any song at least in the recent history of ESC with so many coincidences in negative regard to names of previous entries of Azerbaijan and especially its symbolic name and motto at this contest?

From the very beginning I was totally fine with Armenian participation and I thought maybe it is a good chance to improve at least some parts of our relations. It is hard to get a long-term peace by any song contest or so but still why not to show a good will, why not to make first steps?

And if we speak about peace then why not to come and peacefully sing a proud song without any negative hints or so? Is it so hard for you?
