I don't really know what to make of the new version. The English is probably the least of my concerns as she has good pronunciation. The Albanian gave a much stronger impression though. The intro being deleted is a sin I find it hard even to talk about. One of the best parts of the song removed. The song is far too typical now with it's incredibly soft beginning into the harder final part. The spark just seems to be missing. I'm really disappointed but I think i'll still be supporting Albania this year as I like the song and Hersiana.. but my once favourite song of the year has dropped quite a way down my top 10:(

Good pronounciation? If I don't listen out for the lyrics this sounds like it's mostly in Albanian

Well ok, she has quite a weird style of voice which makes the words difficult to understand:lol: But I believe it's her style of singing, not her english skills that make things hard to hear. She doesn't seem to have a strong accent (Belarus style), her english seems good.

I heard the English version for the very first time today (and never heard the Albanian version).

My general opinion is positive. She's a good singer. I would give it 5 ponts. I like the beginning of the song, but when the melody changes and the guitar appears, I personnaly think the style changes too much.

Her English is not that bad, if we compare to other songs during the last years. I remember for example Anjeza in 2004 how she pronounced "You're in my eyes" /aᶉs/  and she did very very well, a 6th place.

Anjeza didn't have perfect English, but you could understand all the words she was singing. It's a different thing to have an accent, and it's different when no one knows that you're saying. Rihanna has an accent, but you can understand the words.
Hersi should sing in Albanian. Unless the song works in English and you can deliver it, you should just stick to your own language.

I didn't know we had another Albanian on here!

I just wanted to say that if you're English is not perfect, it's not a problem at the Eurovision Song Contest. Personnaly, as a language teacher and a language freak, I completely agree with you, it would be much more interesting if every country sticks to their own language(s). By the way, i like the Albanian language. One of my friends is from Albanian origin and she learned me some words in this beautiful language (but difficult to learn!).

She replies the composer (Genti) about something he asks her to do, and she says 'I can't do it' and goes on about it....So much fuss for such a horrible video, it is like those videos we used to make the first years of democracy, after the fall of communism, when technology was scarse and not enough expertise with new levels of video making, but these days, this video is open crime to Albania. They probably have not had enough money to pay specialised companies which deal with it, because I can't think what else it can be. Albanian videos these days are as good as those of any other country, we have forgotten these horror movies, and we should have send something representing of us. The song itself, if I hadn't heard it in the beginning, is good, but not the same thing, and her voice is immaculate. I think it is not so important that she can't be understood, in the end Eurovision is not the place which shines of great lyrics, I wonder though, how she'll deliver it on stage, as the song now has lost its power, and has got some high sensitivity which can be great when recorded in the peace of a studio, but I don't know how it would be delivered in a great hall. Seems to me that the english will get stuck in her throat, and it will not let the song shine, as it would have had it been in albanian. I hope I'm wrong, but I think it will struggle to qualify. I still think it is a gem song, but not the same any more.

It's a shame because last year your video was one of the best.

This just looks horrific in comparison

Last year's song, I have disliked it so much, that I don't know what its video looks like. As long as TVSH is involved in the process, you can't exactly trust it, you never know what is going to come out, I speak of this year, and the above is what I think about it.

Amazing song, I love how it builds up gradually and I love how it reminds me of japanese anime pop songs.

Must be my favourite comment on this song. It has reminded me of the same thing from the first time I heard it.

I'm still severely unhappy with the removal of the underlying piano. That was maybe the best part of the song imo xcry1

I don't care about the video, it's the song that matters, I think the melody is one of the most interesting and original ones in this year's contest.
