Would they really go through the trouble of filming a video for the "English" version, releasing it only a few days ago and then reconsider in the end anyway? It doesn't seem very likely to me :/

Didn't Moldova do that last year though? xthink

No, Moldova didn't have a video for the English version, and they announced the switch the day after their selection (it was the weekend before the deadline.) Like I've said, I strongly suspect that the switch to Romanian was premeditated before they won the NF.

The Romanian editor on Wiwibloggs reported that Cristina Scarlat was discussing that option with the broadcaster, but considering she made a video for the English version, I doubt it has been planned. It sounds unlikely, but who knows, maybe there was secretly a Romanian version lying around and they're handing it in to EBU right now. If it works out, Aliona and Pasha can call themselves trendsetters.

Let's hope that's the case! xcheer

Only because the fans kicked up shit, and I think they had more time. We shall see though...

But isn't there a revamped version in Albanian too? I mean who cares about the video? It wouldn't be the first time that the presented version in ESC would be different than in the video... they can keep the English video for promo...

I don't know why they changed the language. In Albanian it was beautiful, but in English it has lost its essence. I had given it 10 points but I changed my score to 7.

Nothing changed for me after the change. Disliked it before and disliked it now the same.

Has she dropped her surname for the official version? xfacepalm

I'm practically heartbroken, no Eurovision entry has crushed all my hopes this badly before. xcry

Free your mind from the doubts that are tickling

This song sounded more special in albanian. In english is ridiculous.

I heard the English version for the very first time today (and never heard the Albanian version).

My general opinion is positive. She's a good singer. I would give it 5 ponts. I like the beginning of the song, but when the melody changes and the guitar appears, I personnaly think the style changes too much.

Her English is not that bad, if we compare to other songs during the last years. I remember for example Anjeza in 2004 how she pronounced "You're in my eyes" /aᶉs/  and she did very very well, a 6th place.
