Yay, by far my fave won! I was late for the beginning of the show and I heard the last few seconds of Hersi only. It sounded great. I was sure nothing else could come even close. :)

I know we don't see this the same way though, and each to their own. I just hope that more people will appreciate what linguistic diversity does to music and especially in a concept like ESC which atleast on paper should be about European countries sending entries representing their countries, not representing USA or UK or Sweden...

I wouldn't mind the UK sending a song that isn't English, like Gaelic, Cornish or Welsh. It would certainly show our linguistic diversity and probably help rebuild our ESC reputation a bit (certainly be a shock to the viewers ) Not only that it will help to stop people thinking that all Brits think the English language is the best and the only one worth speaking.

Well, the UK (being native- English speakers) sending English is obviously far more logical and genuine though than countries where the majority don't even know English that well... but yeah, it could be cool to get an entry in some minority language from the UK one day too...

I'm not disturbed by English, I just prefer if countries would send entries in their own languages (as long as the entries are good that is!) and especially if an entry is already chosen in native language, then it's very sad if it gets translated... that's like against the whole spirit of this contest imo.

Even though I have heard it twice, I can't remember how does it sounds like. That's why I have to wait a bit with the voting. So far this has been an average song for me. But better than Ukraine.

They did it again!! xyaaay

My favourites never win anywhere (well, they do, from time to time, in Norway but that's it) but by some kind of magic or spell they always seem to in Albania

I'm happy. 7th year in a row I'll have Albania in my top 10, at least. Its quite unprecedented.:D

LOVE YOU ALBANIA xhug

xjump

(Song is great, but it's a grower not a first listen thing)

If it's right don't fix it, that's what they say and I agree. I don't see any reason why they should change this into English.

I'm overjoyed - I love Hersi and I was hoping she would come back and win it! I would rearrange the song a bit for Eurovision, but she has an awesome voice and stage presence and I'm glad the jury decided she was the deserved winner despite the awkward start tonight.

I'm also hoping for no English translation. It's a distinctive, lively melody, and I have a feeling that shoving new lyrics into it wouldn't produce good results.

I am happy with the choice. Honestly, I would've prefered Klodian or Rezarta, but I'll gladly take Hersi. Good choice, Albania.
