And no, I don't default to English at all, but if I believe a song suits English best, then I will argue for that point.
Plenty? I guess we haven't watched the same ESC lately, 2013 had like the least number of non-English entries ever if I recall it correctly.
And if it sounded more "westernized" (which I don't know if I could agree on), then it's even more crucial for it to stay in native language not to lose itself totally to that "norm" and the little character it got.
I know we don't see this the same way though, and each to their own. I just hope that more people will appreciate what linguistic diversity does to music and especially in a concept like ESC which atleast on paper should be about European countries sending entries representing their countries, not representing USA or UK or Sweden...
