Denmark vs Croatia 34-29. We were DISASTER!! First halftime was great for us, but in the beginning of the second halftime -one player plus and 2 goals received!! This is World championship, so it cannot go that way! I cannot believe....with the game like it was TODAY I don't know......I hope it was only "a bad day"!
The worst is that we have to win all three matches in the second round to qualify for semifinal:oops::(......:shock:we'll see.....

We lost from Romania (28:38) Before the match our coach said smth like we're going to play 'friendly', wtf it means??
I know Serbia could win, we were leading in some periods or being equal, at the end all of a sudden: +10 for Romania.
Obviously our team is just a joke or they don't take this seriously, I don't get it.
But anyway, I'm surprised we're even in next round, cause we kinda suck in handball, IMO.
In next round we'll meet Sweden, Poland, Argentina. It will be a horror:mrgreen:

^^ It looked like they didn't want to play. This was a play with 10% of strength and 0% of any desire and motivation. Players who maybe wanted to show something were inferior to the others. :ro: is not a better team, but they wanted to show something for the "farewell" and we were emotionally drained I guess, and were relaxed by the fact that we already passed the group so it was like a (bad) training. It is a shame for us to tend to play matches like this, by system "hot-cold". This is a national jersey, and you must SWEAT for it! You are playing for your country, and you can't choose which matches you want to play, and which not. I really don't want to focus on anyone specifically, simply nobody deserves a single positive word after this debacle. I am only sad about Vukovic who was powerless, and couldn't do anything.

Btw, this group isn't that tough. :se: is on the same class as we are, but since they are hosts, I guess the referees will judge in their advantage, so that is the only tough factor, but we are equal teams. :pl: is strong, and will be the hardest opponent, but my opinion is that they are not on the same level as on the last world championship. And finally :ar: is the weakest rival, but we must not take them too easy. My opinion is that we can win all 3 matches, but ONLY if we play like we played against :hr:. I told you even after Algeria, not to dismiss our guys, and that I expect them to play well against :hr: and :dk:. :hr: was very close to lose even, but a draw was a fair result.

I feel sorry for him :(

Although Pejanovic didn't show much on the goal in this championship, it's too bad.

Croatia vs Argentina 36:18. Great job guys!;)
But now.....God help us tomorrow with Sweden and with Poland after that! I really don't want to predict ANYTHING! It is very ungreateful job in this championship, REALLY everything can happen! Maybe we could reach the semifinal even with 5 points in second round, but...it is still far away and I wouldn't like to think about it yet, indeed!

Keep cool, I´m sure you have good chances against Poland and Sweden. But of course, these will be hard matches and they will be very closed. Imo the Croatian team is together with France the big favorite of the World Championship.

Denmark - Poland 28:27

Great match once again and but I got really nervous in the end. Unexpectedly we had much more trouble with Poland than we had with Croatia. We were leading with 6 goals in 1st half and Poland really showed their skills in 2nd half so it was very even at last (and extremely nerve-wracking)

Let's just defeat Argentina tomorrow and we will officially be through to the semi-finals! :D

Especially looking forward to the derby against Sweden on tuesday. Hopefully we will make Sweden look like an away-team in their own country. I'm sure the support will be incredible from both fans. :D

Also good luck for you :dk: - and with a victory against Sweden you can help Croatia reaching the half-final.

Pity for Serbia and their goalie, but look on the bright side. Next year, you are hosting the EURO and with that Balkan audience, Serbia will be one of the favourites to win the whole thing. Anyway, the game between Sweden and Croatia will decide who will go through. If Sweden wins, they are through. Even if they tie. Croatia needs to win both games to go through.
And Hungary lost 37-24 from France. Is there a hero to stop the French madness finally?? :D

We lost against Sweden, but I am not too disappointed. We played very well, until the last 10 minutes. Of course the referees were aiding Sweden a bit, but not like it is the usual case for the hosts of the competition. We lost mainly because of those damn stupid expulsions which turned over the cards. Also the Swedish keeper was defending abnormally well  We don't have experience in these situations enough, so that was an important factor as well. Anyway, our goal was to reach 7th place, and I hope we will reach it, we must play really well against Poland tonight, they are a great team. And I hope it won't be a rerun of our last duel.

Oh and well done for the German win against Iceland! :D

Yes it was a great match and I was really surprised about the force of the German team. It was the first victory against Iceland after three years and what an important one. So they can reach the big target, to be under the best 7 teams. This is possible now, but now they must keep this force against Norway and Hungary.
Good luck also for :rs: , Milos. I hope for your team.

Serbian team play tonight against Poland, and we must win if want to pass for Olympic qualifications. That would be hard. Poland is great team and it will be a very tough game. Everything is possible.

I hope that Croatia can win against Sweden, they are much better than host team, but judges will probably "cheers" for Sweden.
