Hello! We are very happy to talk to you.

What is the main reason to take part in the ESC?

Ever since I was a child I’ve been imagining myself competing in the Eurovision and the show in Oslo is a very important experience for me, it’s one of the most exciting moments of my personal and professional life.

Moreover, the competition has come up over the past five years, when The Israeli Broadcasting Authority approached me and asked if I would represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest.

What it feels like to represent a whole country at the ESC?

I’m honored to represent Israel and Israeli music. I believe that participating in the Eurovision is a great, interesting and exciting experience

Will you disclose any details of your performance in Oslo?

Most details are final, and rather simple, as the song is very specific in its form of expression. «Milim» requires maximum focus on the song itself, and not on external stage motives.

Have you already listened the songs of other participants? Do you like the song by representatives of Armenia «Apricot Stone»?

I haven’t heard many of the other songs, but I have listened to the Armenian song and I must say I like it very much. It has a modern ethnic touch which is well made and sung beautifully.

What in the whole process of Eurovision you like the most?

Working on the song and everything that entails. This is the best part since I love music so much. Furthermore, I’m very excited by the great interaction I have with the European audience, which is one of the reasons I chose to participate in the competition.

What are your plans after the competition?

I hope to go on a long tour across Europe, it’s an old dream of mine.

What can you tell to Armenian fans and members of OGAE ARMENIA?

I’d like to thank you for the interview and wish Armenia great success and pleasure from the ESC. I would also like to personally thank all of my Armenian supporters, some of which I’ve seen in a YouTube video and was very touched by it!

The Armenian delegation will leave for Oslo on May 17 to participate in the international song contest "Eurovision-2010".

This is a conversation with a reporter Tert.am told Advisor to the Director of the Public Television of Armenia on special projects Diana Mnatsakanyan. According to her, the first rehearsal Eva Rivas, which is already known, will represent Armenia, will be held at 8:00 am on May 18.

Mnatsakayan noted that the show of Armenian singer is fully prepared and knew all the details. However, she has not disclosed these secrets. "First, to reveal these secrets, according to the rules is not permitted, and secondly, if everything is known - the interest is lost", - she said.

So, without revealing details, Advisor to the Director shared that Eva Rivas will have interesting theatrical show, with a little surprise. "In the show there are elements of focus, we can say that on stage the magic happens" - she explained.

Speaking of costumes, Mnatsakanyan added that in them is there light pastel colors, of course, elements of apricot color. Recall that Eva Rivas with the song Apricot Stone («Apricot") will perform the second on May 27 in the second semifinal of "Eurovision".

Advisor to the Director informed the OTA that in the promo-tour Rivas has already visited Russia, Ukraine, Greece, Cyprus, Germany and Belgium.

She added that during his stay in Oslo will be a one-day visit to France, in Lyon, where Rivas will sing at the concert of Arman Hovhannisyan.

Four winners of “Hello Oslo” SMS quiz will fly to Oslo

The representative of Armenia at Eurovision 2010 Eva Rivas met on May 16th the four winners of the “Hello Oslo” SMS quiz and the best authors of the SMS campaign “Supporting Armenia”. Four winners of the SMS-quiz received from Eva the vouchers for trips to Oslo, for the semi-final and final of Eurovision. The first stage of the SMS quiz is over, but the contest is still in process. Those participants, who have not won the first stage, will continue playing till May 25th. The best 125 participants of the second stage will receive many presents from Orange.

On Orange initiative, Yerevan will also implement Eurovision’s FlashMob dance like 10 other cities which will host the largest FlashMob event in the Europe. Already a special Eurovision 2010 FlashMob Dance (Armenia) group has been created on Facebook where the tutorial videos of the dance are posted. The place and time of Yerevan FlashMob are for the moment kept in secrecy, in order to make the event as spontaneous as possible.

Moreover, very soon in addition to the official video of “Apricot Stone” TV will also broadcast a non-official video of the song, where habitants of different cities and villages of Armenia have been lip-dubbing. The lip-dub video, in line with “together we can do more” signature of Orange, calls to support Armenia all together.

“It’s not all. First time in the two biggest cities of Armenia Orange has initiated a public screening of the Eurovision, which will allow to support Armenia together”, said Aram Mkrtchyan, Orange Armenia Marketing Director. Orange promises that the days of Eurovision semi-final and final will become unforgettable for the habitants of Yerevan and Gumri due to colorful and various activities. Armenia 1st Rehearsal - As seen by Peter

Eva Rivas next up for Armenia. Her hair is so long, it's almost down to her knees! ( I'm just jealous, of course lol)

There is a large apricot stone in the middle of the stage. Eva is joined by a male dancer, one man playing an instrument beside a rock, and 3 backing singers, 2 male and 1 female.

There is fabric on stage and the main colour is gold, though it does change in parts of the song.

I was curious how Eva's vocals would be and they were excellent.

This really is impressive on stage, the camera shots are excellent, One of the best 1st rehearsals so far this year.
