EscDaily.com had the opportunity to speak again to the Armenian representative of 2010, Eva Rivas. We can now exclusively reveal that Eva will be planning a promo tour shortly around Europe to promote “Apricot Stone”. Also, in our past interview she revealed that she is planning big things on the stage in Oslo!
Escdaily.com: Hello again Eva, first congratulations on your victory. When Inga and Anush read your name; How did it feel?!
Eva Rivas: Thank you for congratulations, it really has a very big meaning for me. Truly to say, I had very different feelings, everything was mixed: happiness, excitement, and finally, feeling of the victory, which is the greatest feeling in the world. I can say only one thing: if you believe in something, if you believe in you, in your power, and you do everything to be succeed, sooner or later you will reach your aim and your dreams will come true. I felt all these when I became the winner in the Armenian National Final.
EscDaily.com: Will you plan a promo tour?
Eva Rivas: Of course, we plan a promo tour. I can say that it will be very interesting, as we are going to draw a path of apricot through whole Europe. We want to introduce our national apricot, our national mentality to European audience and make our song be close to their hearts, too. I hope we will manage to do it, because our “Apricot Stone” has an international meaning and everybody can find his character in it. Besides it, they will get acquainted with the song and then the selection will be easier.
Escdaily.com: What would you say to your supporters, fans and voters?
Eva Rivas: Thank you for your support, for your love and belief. I am really very grateful to all of you. Your every word and wish inspires, helps me and gives a great power. What I have today, I have only with your help. I hope you will be with me till the end and help me with your support and love . We should believe in our possibilities, because together we can do more, finally, we can win in Oslo and bring Eurovision 2011 to Armenia.
Let`s do our best and return from Oslo with the victory.
