I think they would win on having a up-tempo after Sweden and Azerbaijan. Netherlands being the first uptempo after 3 ballads in a row, wouldn't help Ukraine. :?

I will repeat again they ^ didn't say that she wants certain song.
They just say that she wrote 2 new songs.
The last sentence wasn't in the press release.

I think that Ukrainians goes too far this year and I do not like it when politics interfere!
In 2005 they have chosen a song with a clear political message and it was wrong (that time government in Ukraine has abused ESC to promote their own policies).

A similar thing happened in Serbia and Montenegro in 2006, and we finally acted honorably and gave up the competition. I do not say that Ukraine should give up, but this is really ridiculous and shameful!

Well, we didn't send political song this year.
The new Head of the National broadcaster is supposed to be appointed by the Ministry so I don't think that there's some problem :roll:
This is their job to react on people's complains so if it's about national broadcaster they are gonna do their job.

AlekS I have not told that Vasil's song have a political massage (that is related to GreenJolly), but the fact is that Vasil's sellection was full of controversy.
He had great voice, song was good (not perfect but still good).

Unfortunately 90-95% of people in all polls, threads, blogs, media etc. didn't think like that, that's why he was changed. + NTU lied to performers about internal selection so of course they complained. If it was clear it wouldn't have happened.
The way how we choose our performers is our own business. Just like it's Serbian business or any other country's business how to choose their own entry.

As I already mentioned before, that's NOT how it's supposed to be, or at least: that's should not become common practice!
For example Germany's (and I guess that applies for almost any country) past entries are all selected in a democratic way, and the majority of Germanys citizens and most Europeans always disliked any of our past entries. But nobody came up with the idea: Ok, seems as if that song won't do well, let's give a sh*t on the votes and try another one!

Most people dislike their governments. But the funny thing is, the people who are complaining are often those who were just too lazy to move their butts to the polling stations.

I don't care about Germany. That's your problem if you dislike your song and you do nothing.
We've been complaining since December and because of presidential elections the old NTU officials were fired only in March so your accusations a-la " Ok, seems as if that song won't do well, let's give a sh*t on the votes and try another one!" simply do not work

ps. leave your political opinion to yourself. People don't choose the Head of NTU. And ACTUALLY we had presidential elections in January and February and we changed our government that changed the Head of NTU :roll: so according to your own logic we did the right thing
