Ukraine has stolen the headlines this year!
whats happening now?is Alysha singing or what?the Ebu would be breaking their own rules,if she is ALLOWED to sing a different song...send another girl to sing an uptempo song and its job done,no ballads..I personally think they should be DQ...i bet if there were 42/43 countries this year competing,Ukraine would be DQ,as there are only 39...well there you go...

I don't think they should be disqualified.

If Azerbaijan weren't disqualified for even worse violations, then for sue Ukraine shouldn't be.

But till next year EBU should be more strict about rules I think.

As for this girl, the process turned out similar as the choice of Vasyl. If they would have followed some fair logic then the closest runner up in the NF not breaking any rules would have been picked, and also they would have got away with no fine.

Now instead they chose this cheater to get a new song and even chose a fine over fair selection, so it's pretty obvious to me she is connected to someone in the new NTU management for sure. Now the public would have no say in the choice of song and I doubt they even did in the final since the song was so uber-crappy ... and don't start that crap; "the public voted for HER"... yeah yeah right... now the public will have NO say in the entry, it's pretty simple.

The new NTU management basically did the same they blamed the old one for doing, now they just hid it in some NF instead... but that doesn't make it any better really.

I have already explained previously. EBU does not abolish its own rules. Blah blah blah... not to mention that they consulted us about the 2nd NF and about this situation.

Today is the song presentation :!: basically they have already chosen the song yesterday but they will choose it officially (with documents and all that, or maybe it's an ordinary presentation, dunno) today.
All journalists are invited into Shooster Studios at 15:00CET!

Shouldn't they worry about checking the songs to make sure they're eligible to enter the contest instead of doing another rushed NF????
I have a bad feeling about this.

^ It seems they recorded all songs during last 2 days. + Kirkorov sent another one. So it's not necessary. Also I'm wondering if they refuse from his song or they will choose it :shock:

i dont want this to happen because more countries the better..but can you see where im coming from.

Unofficial. Working titles of 2 songs have been revealed.

She refused from White Nights (LOL, thank Gawd).
2 working titles are: "Short song" and "Sweet People".
The info comes from one tabloid.

We don't know the final titles yet.
