Ones to watch for the victory:
Ira Losco (obviously) I think she will have it in the bag, unless she has Borg/Vella songs
Brook Borg is amazing! she is one that I have been hoping would enter, I think she will have something really fresh and modern, she could be a good coice
Christabelle came 2nd last year (and would have been a better winner than Amber looking back) she could do well in 2016 with a similar song
Franklin is another that would have been a better choice than Amber this year, I think he has an amazing voice and will do well in Eurovision one day
Corazon has been a favourite from what I have heard, I think it was assumed she would enter a song in Maltese but the title seems to say differently, she could possibly be one to watch... depending on the song
Stefan Galea had a big hit earlier this year and he could be one to watch

I'm devastated at the lack of Jo Zette and Amelia Hope on that list. Not even Miriam Christine is there. Those three would have got me excited. I even would have welcomed a new Chiara dance hit about fashion.. oh well. I'm hoping for some nice surprises with the songs. I enjoyed Jessika's eurotrashtacular "Fandango" last year, so if one of her three songs there is as fun then i'll be happy.

I agree, it should be 50/50 if anything but if you look at what happened in recent years
2013 - Televote winner Jessika / Jury Winner Gianluca
2014 - Televote winner Kevin / Jury winner Firelight
2015 - Televote winner Amber / Jury winner Amber
I think the juries made the better decision in 2013 and 2014

Well actually, the winners of all 3 of those years would not have changed with a 50/50 vote.
Assuming the multiple jury vote is kept same and the amount of televoting points are just multiplied by the number of juries then the top 3 from each year would be:

1. Gianluca Bezzina - 152
2. Kevin Borg - 152
3. Chris Grech - 90
2014
1. Firelight - 91
2. Daniel Testa - 81
3. De Bee - 78
2015
1. Amber - 120
2. Christabelle - 75
3. Ekklesia Sisters - 63
The only questionable year would be 2013, and whether the public or jury vote would take priority.
