NSC 14 saw the third Yaponesian NF in the 10s decade, a sort-of continuation on the international theme, but primarily, our NSC 14 NF was showcasing songs from the FIFA game soundtracks.
Although their Italodance track was the Yaponesian least favourite of the NF at the time, Brothers have been invited back from NSC 14 to perform again here, with another classic remixed for the club scene. Times change and tastes change, but memories stay the same...

Every now and then, Yaponesia likes to try something different. We take pride in our variety as a nation, but there are still many genres we've yet to get close to touching. While the Italodance quartet Brothers had made an appearance as early as NSC 14, with the song 'Dieci Cento Mille', they finished near-last in the NF, including a zero from the home-votes. In the 50 editions since, Yaponesia had never even considered any sort of club tunes or, indeed, remixed entries.
So for NSC 63, we've finally invited Brothers back to take the first Yapo step into this new territory, with the collaboration of Dario Synth, remixing the classic 'Memories' into a club track with hints of hardstyle, trance and happy hardcore, and even a little self-NSC-editing (extended original here). We did rock, we did pop, we even did RnB, but here for the first time, this is a Yapo remix...

Yaponesia has reached the NSC final for the first time since NSC 56! Now we await the results :ugeek:
And also some news about next edition
With some regret, Yaponesia has decided to break from the original tradition of ten-edition "Congratulations" NFs. We had these NFs for NSC 18/19, 30, 41 and 52, and were planning the next for 64 (with Do As Infinity absent, as they've already represented us twice). However, on reflection, our last ten artists haven't produced so many other songs worthy of a second chance, and many have already had two chances to go to NSC anyway (YeSung of Super Junior, John Lennon of the Beatles, and all our most recent entries were in earlier NFs)
In any case, we've heard that some newer nations are taking up this tradition for themselves next edition, so the spirit will still live on (this isn't a reason for me cancelling it btw xD)
Instead, Yaponesia will continue our appreciation of past-NF artists in NSC 64, and will also send, for the first time ever, someone who participated in ESC Stay tuned...
