I just don't like it. :? Sometimes when a song is an earworm, it might be useful for success, but it doesn't mean the song is good. Hm. Is that contradictory?

This has grown on me, I have developed a bit of a soft spot for this entry. But all I can really say is, UK is lucky they have such an awesome performer this year, there's no doubt she has charisma. If they can create a free and joyous enough but still classy atmosphere, they might catch some votes. The bridge does have quite an anthemic feel, which contributes to the impression ... but a lot depends on the staging to make the most out of this and I hope they get it right. And in the end it is a good catchy uplifting song that could stand out, even if it isn't brilliant. (But I guess it will be competing with Australia in terms of votes as I think they're quite similar, and I don't think this could win between the two)

Enjoyable performance, you can tell SuRie is holding back for the Eurovision final though.

She is a great performer, I'm looking forward to seeing how it looks on the lisbon stage.

I quite like the staging they used here, although I wont read too much into it. Lucies staging at esc was totally different and not at all similar to what it was on the graham norton show.

Re: UNITED KINGDOM 2018

Anyone else see some similarities in Surie "Storm" and Ben Plus One "Rainy Day In Summer"?

or am I just drunk and hearing things?
Oh, I think most of the views for that vid are from me. I like the chill AF feel it has, like it makes me want to cuddle a pillow imagining it's mah bae. :D

Go SuRie! Am I the only one looking forward to seeing 30 secs of her rehearsal?

No I'm excited to see if we have great staging again or whether last year was one of the best by accident.

It's really going to come alive once there's an audience - SuRie really feeds off the energy of the crowd

Wow Surie is bringing such positive vibes to the stage! I always kinda enjoy this when I hear it!

To be honest I'd really wish for a better song though - I fear it's to middle of the road to do well in the end :(
