"Storm" is not a bad song but it's just so "MEH". I'm sure SuRie will try to sell the song in her final performance as much as she can so hopefully that might make a difference for the UK's chances in the competition. The revamp has improved the song too, just need to nail the staging now.

I keep expecting for something new and interesting from the United Kingdom every year. (Loved Lucie last year, actually.) But no, this song is nothing out of the ordinary. :(

Well ... it would actually surprise me somewhat, but I guess it's better to be optimistic for those who like this song or are from UK. This may not finish bottom five but I think it will. I think Lucie's song was stronger and more jury friendly as well.

Fulfilling all the stereotypes :p

Well I'm sad Mel isn't commentating. I thought she was great. As for Rylan, he beat all expectations at the NF with his serious approach and knowledge on eurovision. So I think he might be a quite a good commentator.

I like Rylan quite a lot. I enjoyed him even when he was the subject of ridicule early on in his presenting career, but Mel is a great loss. I love her sense of humour. She's so naturally funny, and I adored those little comedy sketches she'd do with the competing artists. No Mel serving Eurovision stars in a cake shop this year makes me sad.

No Mel = good.
More Rylan = bad.

I'd say it's a slight improvement, due to Rylan actually liking Eurovision. Mel clearly didn't like it and her jokes were not funny and quite nasty. Rylan isn't that knowledgable either. Everything he said about Eurovision on You Decide was mostly surface platitudes that have nothing in common with today's contest. Especially having to grab people in "10 seconds". What the hell?

Got to keep those Eurovision stereotypes alive somehow xshrug

Its a shame we don't have former Eurovision contestants as our commentators. I think Lucie would have been an excellent commentator but we're stuck with people who just like to take the piss out of the contest

I really don't think there is anything wrong with humour tbh. xshrug We have loads of TV shows here with humour and joking about, at least in some part.
