So true, average usually gets you no points. Thing is, this is not average, this is just plain bad, it is as low as you can get. No matter how you try it doesn't get any worse than this. AND it is eurovision sooo... I am genuinely convinced there's a litle light of hope for the Uk. I'm sure they won't come dead last and some points shall come their way ;)

Nah, the performance was a mess...

I don't know what the song could serve for performance. It is simple and slow. A dance routine and dark theme fit it fine, I guess. If you mean Engelbert's live performance, which I pointed out, I wouldn't call it a mess.

Listening to this song more has still not changed my mind that it will be a huge flop

Jaz and Asanda would have been a risk... but a risk is better than a bland flop. I was 50% British 50% Maltese but this year I have no British connection haha

Maybe a remix could help?

Apparently the song will have some tweaks done to it, as she said on tv. Tweaks sound like quite a minor change but we shall see.

Regardless of the song, somebody should tell her that raising the right arm while singing "storms don't last forever" has a very bad connotation especially in german speaking countries.

Well for some in England and Wales it might be appreciated. She should be made aware of this.

Oh I LOVE it in the beginning and when the song is buildning up to the chorus...
...but then it suddenly stops... there is something wrong....I lack a WHOLE LOT in the refrain....

Re: UNITED KINGDOM 2018

It's 4 points from me.

SuRie is good, but like I said earlier, the song needs a revamp to stand out (maybe even lyrically?)

Not only that but the way I have seen some Brit Eurofans going on it's like Surie and Storm are the best things since sliced bread?! o_O

THIS EXACTLY. Like the OGAE UK group has gone completely bat shit crazy for this song. I don't understand the hype at all?????

Well suRie started to perform and I was like jeez this is dreadful so I went to get food, come back in and the crowd's screaming like Mariah's just been on stage or something. I was like God I must have missed something really good so I watch it again and I'm like "am I missing somethin?!" o_O

But I was like okay okay I get it maybe it's just differing music taste but then I've seen the "die-hards" (as I call them ) saying stuff like "SuRie is fast becoming my favourite personality ever" totally 100% serious. I'm like waat... xcrazy
