So true, average usually gets you no points. Thing is, this is not average, this is just plain bad, it is as low as you can get. No matter how you try it doesn't get any worse than this. AND it is eurovision sooo... I am genuinely convinced there's a litle light of hope for the Uk. I'm sure they won't come dead last and some points shall come their way

Nah, the performance was a mess...

I don't know what the song could serve for performance. It is simple and slow. A dance routine and dark theme fit it fine, I guess. If you mean Engelbert's live performance, which I pointed out, I wouldn't call it a mess.

Jaz and Asanda would have been a risk... but a risk is better than a bland flop. I was 50% British 50% Maltese but this year I have no British connection haha

Well suRie started to perform and I was like jeez this is dreadful so I went to get food, come back in and the crowd's screaming like Mariah's just been on stage or something. I was like God I must have missed something really good so I watch it again and I'm like "am I missing somethin?!"

But I was like okay okay I get it maybe it's just differing music taste but then I've seen the "die-hards" (as I call them ) saying stuff like "SuRie is fast becoming my favourite personality ever" totally 100% serious. I'm like waat...
