No, what you need to do is... bring back Jemini!

Btw guys I just managed to find the actual complaint I sent to BBC

Here it is:

BBC you need to get your act together. Yes I did support Bonnie this year, but it all failed once again and we've only scored 2 top 10 positions in the last 16 years, and being one of the largest music importers of the world, that is just embarrassing. Yes I know all you care about is the total viewing figures and that's why we keep sending big names but who are no longer relevant. Many of us Eurovision fans would choose the UK act or selection process much better than the current way of doing this. We DON'T want big names, we want BIG talent and AMAZING songs. But unfortunately we're not getting this.

All I propose is the re-introduction of the National Final. It doesn't have to be as big as something like say, 'Melodifestivalen' from Sweden, but perhaps just 5 weeks in February/March where there are four semi-finals and then the final on the last Saturday. It would certainly fill up the void in the early 2014 where Strictly Come Dancing has finished and The Voice hasn't yet started, meaning better ratings. Just advertise it on BBC that you're looking for artists who are perhaps struggling to find a recording contract or struggling for a 'big break'. No cheesy acts just credible artists with modern songs, don't have to be dance songs or pop songs, but just modern. The public will then have their choice and at least on the evening of the Eurovision 2014 Grand Final, we can have more pride in our entry.

Thank You,
Ryan

Cool, let us know if/when you get a reply and share what they say.

If BBC works like British Airways, all what he we'll get is "Thank you for your feedback" (aka **** off!) IOTAP

You forgot to add "Don't forget to catch The Voice, Eastenders and our brand new show blah blah blah airing at/on if you ever get the chance!"

Well then i'll be communicating with someone who is more involved with the selection process. Poor service BBC.

Unless they're inundated with complaints or one of those e-petitions for the government get a significant number of signatures i doubt it will make much different, but every little counts.

What are the reasons for you not hosting NF - does anyone one know?

Surely the BBC aren't lacking funds.

definitly not a lack of funds.

My assumption is a lack of interest or the fact that our choices haven't been too great either so thought they would give it a shot.

In all fairness to the public, the options they presented to us were generally appalling. We chose bad entries because we had nothing good to choose from.

YOU COULD HAVE HAD CYNDI!!!!!! xgaahxcryX-OI

GAH I still can't believe you chose Scooch over her! xdoh

You can b***h and moan all you want about the BBC rejecting Katie Melua and The Hurts but the one year you the British public had the power you basically threw it away and acted as bad and ignorant as the BBC do. Can't really complain about the BBC when its apparent the public were just as bad can you? xshrug

The BBC see the number of viewers as the indicator of success, not the position on the scoreboard. Whilst people are still watching they won't change anything.

After the success of the Azerbaijan stage show this year, I am putting my money firmly behind Adam Rickitt for Copenhagen.

I'm sure Rod Stewart will be the next poor sod for the Uk. How long till they start bringing the dead? John Lennon anyone?
