Ok, I rest my case. I didn't want to insult you, just wake you up. Because You could do so much better if you took esc more serious.

Excuse me? This is coming from a country who failed to qualify what, 9 years in a row? I'm not even going to mention some of the ridiculous entries you, put forward - 2010 anyone? I like the Netherlands, and I feel that some years, you got robbed a final place -like 2011, LOVED 3js. But please don't act high and mighty because Anouk saved you guys this year. You should understand, how, after 9 years, that politics in ESC can screw you over in this competition - not always, but it is a very big factor. I don't see how musically speaking, Armenia, Belarus or Georgia were better than Bonnie, but their neighbours sure helped them out good. xheya

Of course Bonnie wasn't going to reach Top 3 by Europe's standard, but she deserved at least 11th -15th, which she would've gotten if the neighbor votes didn't apply.

I think a lot of countries did want to vote for Bonnie, it's just that political voting takes precedence. If you take away all the block votes, Bonnie would've probably ended up between 12th-16th. Armenia, Georgia and Belarus aren't in front of Bonnie because they're better songs...

Agreed. Although I do agree with the papers blaming the BBC for our lack of success. Bonnie had, what I believe, to be a fairly strong song and should have finished slightly higher.

I'm glad most papers and media aren't blaming politics most comments online say the same the song was utter naffness as was the vocals.

Bad song, iffy vocals at the start, an uninspiring performance. I'm shocked it did as well as it did

Send someone relevant next year BBC and stop trying to live off past successes (the whole "it was 16 years until Katrina & the Waves won and now it's 16 years since they won, so could it be fate?" smacked of desperation and a clear lack of faith in the song).

And also BBC - stop bloody showing us crappy behind the scenes footage and cutting out the interval shows. I wanted to see Darin & Agnes in SF2 and instead had to watch a bloody crappy video about Bonnie going round press conferences and parties and listen to Ana Matronic talk utter crap to some random bloke who pretended like he knew everything about Eurovision and a drunk Australian woman who clearly got lost en-route to the bar or something. Just let us see the full show god Dammit!!!!! xsnooty

I know. That really pissed me off, that did. I am so glad BBC1 didn't follow the same route as BBC3, that would have really annoyed me and the BBC would have got loads of complaints if that did happen.

I personally didn't like it. Thought Bonnie struggled and the points total was deserved. But then again, it does all come down to personal tastes, as I loved Armenia but most people here are slating it

Josh Dubovie. xyaay

I still have to stand by my 12 points to the UK though, having re-watched it, Bonnie finished the song off very, very well, and I felt like she was Bonnie from '83 at some moments. xlove

The performance wasn't mindblowing but I liked it a lot! Criminally underrated.
What does the press say?
