EWWWWWWWW DISGUTING. POLITICS!

I predicted most of thee 8, 10 and 12 points absolutely correctly! YAWN.

The song was crap and she sung poorly. Thank your friends Ireland and Malta for not finishing lower.

Bonnie performed sooo bad, She started very bad, than was saved by the backing singers, though the tempo was too fast for her.
Stop blaming others, start to take eurovision seriously and send good songs, and else back off. Yes, I am also annoyed England is always in the finals no matter what crap they send. Why do you always think you are so good, than the rest of Europe is crazy????
Grow up.

I'll bite :).

We don't believe we're so good (also its the United Kingdom, not England, England is only one part of the UK), infact we think we're pretty poor when it comes to Eurovision, mostly because we send very bad acts (read the cheap option) and we know this to be the case. I'd love the UK to take it seriously, but it takes time to change peoples attitudes and coming lowly doesn't help.
The reason we get a free pass is because the UK along with four others give alot of money to the EBU and if they weren't in the finals, the EBU would be hearing about it (as happened with Germany one year).

As for Bonnie, she wasn't the worst performer on the night, in my opinion she didn't deserve to win, no where near but she didn't deserve to be 19th either (along with Ireland, just how did they come last?!). Hopefully next year the beeb will open it up to the public!

100% agree, wish we took it more seriously, I did believe a position between 6 and 13 was possible though, but maybe there was a HUGE difference in jury/televote, perhaps doing much higher in the televote than the jury vote, which would've put us in a higher position last year but with the new voting system saw us fail.

Thank you for representing the rational side of the UK when it comes to ESC...

She even ended up better than deserved imo...

The song was dated, generic, boring and badly performed... I'm sorry to say it...

I thought it was glorious and Bonnie literally sounded like she always has. This was the saddest thing for me tonight. I haven't felt the slightest care in the past when we have done badly. Bonnie deserved much better. It's our first entry since I can remember that i've really got behind. It's just a shame, a real shame. The audience in the hall at least appeared to love her. I felt proud to have her represent us and it was a thrill watching her perform.

Bonnie proved that being a superstar in the past is not enough to win this competition. She is adorable and a diva, but vocally tonight she was one of the worst (only Raquel from Spain was worse tha n her I think) so 19th place was well deserved.

UK should send NEW artists...they can pick them from any bar in Soho and they will do it better than The Hump or Bonnie...believe in me!

I’m so fed up with comments that it is politic voting why England ended so low, it is so arrogant. Don’t you think there are more countrys that don’t benefit blockvoting? I even read a lot of comments from Brittish poeple that it is because you invaded Irak in 2003.
The difference is the other countries try very hard, like Austria, San Marino, Belgium, Netherlands, Switserland, Portugal, Israel, Finland and maybe more. The have to be 75% better than the rest to qualify. And they try and try and are sooo happy if they get Lucky to be in the finals. And you are so Lucky to be always in the finals and that makes you think you could also buy yourself a good ranking, without making any effort and make fun , have a good laugh about their talents? Well, now Europe is making fun of you.
Englandmode: Bleehh, Anouk did not win because China prefers Dutch babyfood and all of Europe is jalous and boycot us….

I'm glad we could have her in Sweden for such a big event like this. She did fine, even though she wasn't vocally on top. But come on, it's Bonnie Tyler. Did you hear me? I'm glad she did this and she must not regret it. She had nothing to loose at all.

That is so harsh... not deserved I my opinion. I love her xheart It was normal Bonnie Tyler performance. Of course she sings not so perfect, but then again I dont think it was that bad. It was a good song. But probably that is not good enough anymore, 10 years ago? Well...
But maybe BBC will learn and try harder... organise some NF or at least send someone really current...
