She didn't sound bad to me either.. at all actually? Although the quality of the audio was very muffled. People forget Bonnie is a raw singer. She's not some precise diva, warbling up and down. She a gravely rock chick. Every vocal she gives is something different. Part of her charm. When she had the operation to remove the nodules from her vocal cords, the voice she had before was wrecked. For most people that would be game over but Bonnie turned a disaster into something amazing and unique. I don't see what was so bad about this particular performance here? Pretty much like all her others. I'm slightly worried about the jury but the public vote i'm confident with tonight. She should make top 10.

So i'm not alone in thinking that. I was confused when watching it:confused:, expecting to hear some disastrous voice that some people have been rabbiting on about.

Bonnie has such a marmite voice that you can be watching the same video as everyone else and come up with a completely different opinion. xshrug She always had that rasp even at her peak and unfortunately voices like that don't always sound as pretty or brilliant as you age. Its got nothing to do with how you live its just about getting older when your voice naturally deepens unfortunately.

And since no one thinks of Bonnie as a threat hopefully a jury is more forgiving and a great televote can put her in Blue territory, that would make me happy. xcheer

Good luck to you, Miss Tyler. You look great for your age. Yes I know you're laughing right now, but I really think so! :D Great song!

So 19th it is.

At least we won't be getting that Spanish troll on this thread any more.

19th is an okay position, but the points were really low. Having said that, tonight was incredibly strong, and Bonnie really didn't stand out as a good act among them. It's a fair placing I feel.

It seems you're the only one....... Some countries are overrated and some others are underrated, but it's not a big difference this year. Bonnie sand terrible yesterday in the jury rehearsal and she was better but not perfect today. This result was expected (And I'm saying myself that I'm not satiesfied at all with my country result). The voting didn't affect UK at all.

The fact that you missed Lithuania and Estonia out of your round-up of the bottom is also out of pure COINCIDENCE right?

Spain was so underrated this year. It was one of my top 10. Saying that i was shocked how bad Germany did, and how well Armenia did - i thought it would be right at the bottom with a lot less points.

Bonnie performed sooo bad, She started very bad, than was saved by the backing singers, though the tempo was too fast for her.
Stop blaming others, start to take eurovision seriously and send good songs, and else back off. Yes, I am also annoyed England is always in the finals no matter what crap they send. Why do you always think you are so good, than the rest of Europe is crazy????
Grow up.

Yikes that's all I can really say at the moment. :( I literally feel numb, no actual feeling or anything. :(

I didn't think she sounded that bad but every other message board I was looking at was trashing her. Maybe my head and ears are making excuses for her, I always expected some raspy sounds that sounded less than perfect so I don't know. xshrug

I just hope Bonnie isn't too disheartened by all of it and the UK/BBC really need to get its act together (they don't get a free pass from me like France). xcry1 And I'm already hating hearing the P word being thrown around. T()
