The song will be improved. He has already had a meeting with The Maneken.
They're working on the chorus and to a lesser extent on the verses.

As appeared he's learning Ukrainian because he doesn't want to speak surzhyk. Today I heard him speaking Ukrainian a little.

:? the chorus is already good, I'm afraid they will just make song worse if start changing everything.

I like how campy the staging is. Much of what he has done on stage would have probably been unironically cool in the 80s. Originally, I wanted to give fewer points but I'm so delighted with the staging that I decided to give it 8 points.

This is such a vanilla, generic, bland song :? No from me. I think it may well struggle to qualify.

I had high expectations before listening to it. But the song itself doesn't stand out in any form. It's not bad, but being mediocre is sometimes even worser than just being bad ....:(

I wasn't expecting to think much of this but I really like it, good voice and can play piano - very talented guy! :D Probably one of my favourite Ukrainian entries actually, good job! 10 points to Ukraine.

We don't know whether the change will improve it though. I'm very worried because I really like this song, and I'm worried it'll be hurt by the legendary Eurovision revamp.

At least it's Ukraine doing the revamp; I don't recall them having given us a bad one before. As opposed to e.g. Macedonia or Albania, who have a bit of a reputation for using their revamps to suck the life out of songs in recent years.

My main issue is that it seems unnecessary. The song is great as is. All they would need to do was re-record the vocals.

The only thing keeping me optimistic is that Melovin (in one of interviews) said he had shivers when heard some of new arrangement elements added to the song.

If he's working with Onuka's producer to revamp the entry it can only mean good things, I wouldn't worry in this case, it will probably make it less generic and more interesting... we'll see... Ukraine made a huge mistake this year so they'll eat it up in ESC regardless and maybe two flops in a row will teach them a lesson until next year xshrug

But hey, I'm all for a little "Onuka touch", might even be more open minded to this after that...

Well obviously I'm coming from a different position because I already love the song. I'm worried they would take it in another direction. But regardless, this isn't flopping, that's for sure.

Then Someone from Semi1 must go to Semi2.

That won't happen

I dont think Ukraine will withdraw anyway, A Solution will be found.

But if that would be the Case, the EBU could never let it stay as it with 19 & 17 Countries in the Semis.
