SF2 is packed like hell with beautiful songs, someone is gonna crash so badly :( The good side of the matter is that I'll be able to vote :p
Ukraine has a good song and performance, 8 points for now

I can't see how burning piano and his performance can miss the TOP10 in Lisbon. As much as I hate the song and the singer, a performance like that gonna slay.

An okayish song that got those exaggerated results from televoting because of his legion of fangirls more worried about his looks. What is he even singing? His english is abysmal.
Not a fair world when this guy wins and Vilna that absolutely killed it is second last.

As a usual fan of Ukraine's entries this one is really nothing special. Very basic choice.

also i am thankful that melovin got on eurovision now, with a good song, because a) last year's song was bad and b) obviously he was going to try until his fans got him there. we could have had tayanna now, but he could have also ended up winning vidbir next year with a dud.

tayanna's time will come soon i am sure!!!

I didn't like her entry last year, but this time she totally deserved to go... I'm afraid it'll end up as with Zlata Ognevich, third time the charm but that her second attempt was her strongest one...

I really like this!
Whoever said it gives them Coldplay vibes was on to something.
Also, personally, the english pronunciation doesn't bother me. After all, if he sang in Ukrainian, most people wouldn't understand a word, still singing in one's native language is seen as a virtue among ESC fans. Why is incomprehensible english any worse? xshrug

Re: UKRAINE 2018

I do not have to explain myself, if you knew where I come from, my history, the history of my relatives, you wouldn't dare to call me impolite. Yes, I don't like it he does not speak Ukrainian. Not even one word. Do I have to be sorry for that? No. Because I was brought up this way. To love my country and my language. And to protect it as well.

And Ukrainians so love and respect their own language that you sung on English even on home ground last year. And only one song on Ukrainian this year take third place on tele-voting. Sorry but you reaction is just nationalistic (even I can understand reason for that)

I loved them! In 2015 I didn't hear most of songs before competition because of Ukraine absence. So I didn't follow NFs and just watched the show live. They looked so interesting, maybe niche, but very adorable to me - and this is just from the 1st listen. Gave me some :fr: 2008 vibes as well. Austria didn't deserve 0 points that year.

Your comment is irrelevant to my opinion. Please, refer to my initial post.
And yeah, I am patriotic. Go look it up in the dictionary. Btw, 'nationalistic' also has no negative connotations, so I would accept it as a compliment.

And yeah, so nice to see a Serb and Russian attacking my opinion for protecting my native tongue. Nobody else, but you guys  I know that in your countries freedom of speech is totally unknown concept. But it works in international forum - so deal with it.

As far as language is concerned and your observations I understand and support you.
Unfortunately, Ukraine is heading in the wrong direction in any other sense.
Once you understand this, then it will already be very bad for Ukraine.

Not gonna vote in the poll for my own country... until the rehearsals

The piano didn't burn.

We don't know if they keep the same staging for Lisbon.

The juror Maneken offered him his studio to improve the song though it's already great imo.

English teacher from Danylko, sound from The Maneken, and what Jamala will offer him then?

One that allows unproportional televoting by hormonal teenage girls for the local "teen idol" impact

Me & Fierro don't look like hormonal teenage girls at all  His "teen idol" hype is equal to the maximum in the polls - 2000 people  add their parents' phones & other gadgets - that's like 10000 votes, even with 20000 it's still not enough

Also love how people who were so quick to judge Tayanna's clothing in the semi now were judging her even harder... her team made a mistake listening to all those haters of the female body who would rather cover it up like they were moral police from Iran or something xshrug...
Nobody except Wiwi judged her body :? Danilko actually kept mentioning in the semi and in the final that he liked her legs.
Her costume in the semi was atrocious as sad f--k. But she managed to find even more horrendous one  I don't want a song in Ukrainian to be presented like that. If she decided to play a Slut Queen xheat then she has to be better than all our previous girls. Not with such costumes.

we'll have two Aleeksevs instead of one...
Alekseev wishes he could have such song, staging, looks and vocals xrofl
