For me, Tayanna sold that shit of a song since first second and that machine at the end, when she used that corner, that every damn last part of the stage ,was actually a moment when I thought "Okay girl, now I like what you're doing". She's bit like Lobota, but much, much classier.

One of my friends mentioned that one of the comments under the performance on youtube said something like "Beyonce for the poor". I hope Tay doesn't read that

Damn. Tayanna's entry truly is fantastic, the energy is insanely amazing Didn't expect it honestly. But it really has some kind of unmatchable spark How extra it is adds to it a lot, because at the same time it's not too much, it's just fun. And the song is catchy and quite fresh sounding on top of everything. Wow. x12s

Well, hardly, given the diminute amount of love she's getting from the fans. Sadly. Last year, yes, she would have been a perfect fanwank, although I'm sure she would have ended up much higher anyway then the Ukrainian entry actually did - it must have been Ukraine's worst result to date? I was not a fan of her song last year by the way, I liked it but there was a tad too much screaming for my taste.

Plus, atm she's singing in the Ukrainian language which is making everything so much more special! How many times have that actually happened?

Anyway, between hot and spicy and mild and insipid I almost always go for the first option. I understand it's not the same with everyone, but there you are.

If we're doing ranks then let me present mine for the NF, based purely on performances rather than just the songs, and mine is colour coordinated.

I like Melovins song more in the studio, but Tayannas performance was just amazing, while Melovin was channeling his inner Edward Scissorhands which looked awful. Tayanna should win imo. The other 4 songs I don't care for at all, all rather forgettable and meh in their own way, especially the bottom 3.

Well if you send The Erised or Tayanna I can be, as i'm certainly not Albanian this year and my Sammarinese citizenship is on dodgy ground. I did just apply for a Lithuanian visa though, so i'm seeing what's going to happen there first before making any decisions.

But this is just the problem, we have hormonal teenage fangirls who are unproportionally dominating the televote voting for whoever they find the "cutest" and not necessarily the strongest entry of the bunch... We have the same "issue" in Melodifestivalen, but irrational voting locally is not really helping in the big contest where these local "teen idols" are completely unknown.

Anyways, it's almost as if I want him to win now just to say "I told you so" later on... pity though he'll take the spot from someone more worthy.

Most national selections would kill to have such a "ready package" like Tayanna, and those type of entries were always were Ukraine "smashed the rest of the competition" with, now we're gonna have two Ukrainian gay twinkies (one competing for Belarus and the other for Ukraine) competing for the same votes instead... none of them particularly good either...

And we could have had a banger in Ukrainian language instead and end up with an MF cliché... oh well

We thought, at least I thought, that Lisandro from France would win Destination Eurovision for the exact same reason, but finally that's because of the televote that he lost. I'm not saying Melovin won't win, because France's and Ukraine's selections doesn't have the same public (the french public is probably much older), but I think that everything's possible. We saw so much surprising results these last months and years that I wouldn't be so sure about any results anymore.
