No, this is how things will go down...

Screamy tween girls will vote some local amateur fanboy with a cliché song to Lisbon with the hopes that Europe will care... well Europe won't care because he is obviously a no name in Europe and he will give Ukraine another mediocre result because in ESC because a local name means nothing if you can't deliver an overall package to convince the European viewers and juries...

... or

Ukraine is playing it smart, choose a professional team with a professional performer (Tayanna) and atleast will make up somewhat for the flop last year... and Ukraine will be back on track with those professional female performers who gave you great results in the past... I'm not saying that Tayanna will be top.3 or top. 5, but I'm almost certain she'll do much better than Melovin because she's got the whole package and the right team to back her up...

So you can choose a ready package, or some half-arsed act...

Seeing the results in voting, I'm afraid Melovin will go to ESC, and while subjectively people have different taste and that's alright, if we are talking about potential results, I think Tayanna is your safest choice... but sure Ukraine should choose who they want, but I wonder if unproportional voting by some tween girl fans is really what Ukraine wants tbh

I'm a bit disappointed with Tayanna's performance.. tbh I only liked vocals, they were really strong especially with such dancing..
But it was too cheap somehow..I like dancing, but this on the floor wtf! :?
very bad, pointless and messy choreography..
And clothes and color of clothes is very bad...

For example just look to Renaida's choreography from MF...that is what a call good and on point choreography..

I hope The Erised wins..they are World class..
They can do the best out of all these finalists in ESC too, I'm almost 100% sure..

/When Verka said that Illaria's song is good for 'bazar' (which I know is a big event too, but in Poland it means flea market), that was so cruel and so sad.. Illaria looked kinda pissed though No way she's trying ever again in next few years.

Illaria got what she deserved. I was afraid she could ruin the song by her approach of performing it and he did it. While I liked costumes and visual part, this performance doesn't promise even decent placing. She was not charismatic nor confident, song didn't feel strong and established judging by that singing. I'm so sad because the composition is masterpiece compared to "Thank you for my way". I think this should've been performed by someone else. Even VILNA's generic ethno-pop found place in my hard because girl can deliver it.

Yeah, I expected Ukraine to deliver my personal TOP1 once again after 5 years, high hopes crushed so hardly, that it hurts. I think this time Illaria was way too sure about the song and the performance in her head and she didn't even bother to practice vocals or the way how to sing the song live.

Constantin as the backing vocalist was hilarious though. What if they both advanced to the final

I certainly don't mind if Tayanna, Melovin or VILNA win. Gonna vote for VILNA probably. Or Tayanna if she changes that dress.
I'd voted for The Erised but I'm not happy with their attitude. It seems they & LAUD are the least excited about ESC.

Totally in love with Tayanna after that mindblowing performance with flying skirts and hair! What a surprise after last year, which was a bit too shouty for me although still quite good anyway. The song is instant yet it is complex enough, it was wonderfully energetic, and her voice had a most attractive raspy quality to it that does it. Her commitment and abandon to the dance routine is key, PLEASE don't change the dress or anything about it.

Everything was ace, ace ace!! Lisboa needs this, Ukraine! x12s x12s

Tayanna had the best performance for sure last night. It had a much bigger impact on me than any of the others did, however I hope she won't change her song to English if she should win. :? It will ruin the quality imo. Melovin has the song I like the most but he had that Edward Scissorhands look and it was tragic af. He needs to change that asap. I'd be thrilled with either of them two winning, providing tayanna doesn't sell out to English and Melovin doesn't look like a movie villian on crack.

Melovin is quite a decent song (just been listening to it) but quite forgetable in my eyes and very middle of the road in the end. Plus his vocals are everything but impressive. Not a good choice at all.

So sad that Ilaria is out, she had one of my favourite song this season and I thought her performance was strong enough for a top 10 at Eurovision but we'll never know.

I'm now rooting for Kadnay, big surprise yesterday with their awesome very energetic performance that had the best visuals this year in my opinion. Also, they're really attractive.
