If I understood correctly Verka said about Ilaria: "She is AMAZING, let's send her to Slavyanski bazar festival, also to perform for national day of Ukraine, but not to ESC, she is not for ESC"....
This is not acceptable to say by one jury member during the voting process..and until the whole NF finishes.. :?

It doesn't look hopeful for Ukraine now, this Melodifestivalen cliché pop tween teen girl fanboy Melovin will probably win while Constantine, Illaria and Dilemma are out and Tayanna who should win this couldn't even get second in a semi. My favorite ESC country of all time has lost its touch

All my favourites just died but Tayanna is good. Disappointed though but can't really complain about the jury votes as the public didn't care for what I liked either that much. This final is so disappointing considering what it could have been.
1. The Erised - Heroes The special song of this NF. I've already said how much I love this. Unique, mysterious and super dark. I've heard nothing else like it. Be brave and go with this please.
2. Tayanna - Lelya I didn't feel for this at all in the studio version but admittedly live it kind of slayed me. I miss crazy, sexy Ukraine at Eurovision. Let's bring it back! Tayanna was on fire during that performance.
3. Kadnay - Beat of the Universe Mess that I couldn't take my eyes off. Song isn't my kind of thing but it's punchy and has drama. I was equally annoyed and fascinated.
4. Laud - Waiting Interesting voice and solid performance, but also irritating. The song itself isn't particularly anything special either.
5. Vilna - Forest Song Super irritating lyrics and just overall i'm feeling nothing from this. Kind of bad as far as Eurovision pop folk stuff goes. You can and HAVE done much better. Don't sink to this.
6. Melovin – Under The Ladder Style over substance. Dull song with zilch excitement to be found, unless staring at edgy looking young men with contact lenses is your thing. I'm surprised this won the public vote, but I guess looking at him I shouldn't be so surprised. Angsty teen girls are powerful.

I utterly hope that Tayanna will unexpectedly win the whole thing, which is something that I'm highly doubtful about... Well, let's see whether she'll nail it in the grand final.
My only thoughts are about this Melovin's slight hype bubble. What's happening to Ukraine? I mean, this is a trainwreck and I can't actually believe in the fact that'll win. I'm so upset with him and with his entry. :?

If Melovin wins (which I dread) he needs either to change his song to Ukrainian or learn English. I know the justification a lot of artists give is “My song is in English so the message is more global.” Yeah uh, buddy, if nobody can understand your English then that’s irrelevant. Also, the piano on stage is incredibly tacky.
