She made the song. I cannot imagine anyone else singing this song and make it to the top 3! Not only is she blessed with beauty but also with a great voice. Lucky girl!

Analitika - Informativni Portal - EUROSONG: Sporno sabiranje pobu

this is good that Montenegro wants that Ukraine gets deserved 12 points from them

So Ukraine got a 12 from the jury and 12 from the televotes in the semi.

Ukraine got again the jury's 12 in the final. Its televote rank is unknown, but there is no way it could've slided from #1 to like #20, which is what would be needed to deprive it of any points. Especially since there were no ex-Yugos countries for people to vote for.

Since no one exYu country was in Final, i am sure Ukraine was very high in Televoters, at least few points Zlata should have received

Must be voting mistake...wait what? That doesn't occur on ESC  Seriously, now no one will care to correct it I guess... and it wouldn't change much in placing, she lost 20pts to Farid.. even dueze don't do her a favour :/ It can cost single point/s(if she got 12) per each song that would be below Zlata if Montenegro votes were counted correctly.

The host said that there are rumors Marco is in love with Zlata, but she said he didn't say anything like that, although he spoke Italian so who knows :D
And she also said she would go watch his performance but not more :) Now it's nothing but work.

^Did I understand correctly that she nearly fell off the rock at the end of her Semi performance? Something about stepping too far back on it?

Yes, her heel was hanging in the air, she was standing on her toes, but luckily she kept her balance and no one noticed.

Why is she insisting in answering in Russian when the Host is talking in Ukrainian? xshrug

Have no clue, strange cuz she speaks Ukrainian very good, maybe it was easier for her to answer in Russian... she was born and brought up in Russian speaking milieu, her father made them have Ukrainian language day once a week though, guess she doesn't practice so much these days.

But the things is, I know she can speak Ukrainian, yet all the interviews she seems to insisting on Russian.

I always found that a bit weird and lame, especially considering the political environment in Ukraine, I think more acts should insist on speaking Ukrainian and especially it shows a bit of lack of respect when the host is actually talking in Ukrainian to you xshrug

Actually, Ukrainian is the state language of Ukraine...

I don't want to go into politics and history, but yes there's a problem...

There is a problem only for ppl who are looking for problems.

There is many public persons in Serbia who speak on croatian so what? I can understand them and thats the most important. I am really sick of all that nationalistic attitudes xpuke

As I said, it's really off-topic...

But considering Ukraine's history - that it was occupied by Russia and Russian authorities convicted a genocide on the country's people - and add that the current semi-dictator regime belongs to the "Russian" part and are actively working against not only democracy, but also against Ukrainian language and culture - then yes it's a sensitive issue there.
