We'll see. I hope you are right

Yes I think this is the proper meaninmg of his words. He says that in Turkish: işler yolunda giderse, seneye inşallah. I think this means "hopefully" indeed or something like that. It's certainly not used for demands, ultimatums and so on.

I was referring to the first part of his statement. That's where the conditions are hidden.

Any reasons given why they change their mind and announce it THAT soon?
I have my doubts! IF they seriously think about it, EBU would make an exception and let them enter even this year. So.... what to think about it?

Could you - for all us non-speakers of turkish give us a resumé of the articles mentioned in your post?

Current general manager of TRT Şenol Göka reported about the issues which they settled with EBU. Göka said: "There were problems with not only the voting system, but also some problems due to the ethical system." He also reported that many countries in Europe are not pleased with the current EBU management and that there is concerns that they are not using the budget correctly. He continues: "Some countries like Italy and Romania has the same issues. Bulgaria has discussed withdrawing as well. But after the discussions with EBU, we feel satisfied they have listened to our demands and we will participate again."
WTF?

Pahahahaha trying to legitimise their stupid "reason" for withdrawing by making out other countries side with them. There is nothing wrong with the voting procedure, It will never be perfect no matter what it is. They will only be happy when every country is forced to give Turkey points. I haven't missed Turkey in eurovision at all, and prefer they don't return at all with their incredibly poor attitude.

The "attitude" has been changed since Ibraim Sahin is gone. Finally...

Good, they can't expect to be getting a good score every year, and they are the last country who should be moaning about unfair voting considering they are the biggest benefactor of diaspora voting. Underrated in the Jury years, Overrated in the televoting years.

I'm actually starting work on a paper with pretty much that exact claim - maybe I can send it to TRT.
