INFORMATION FOR NEW PLAYERS
After you join the Waiting List, I highly recommend looking for a place for your country. The unoccupied areas implicitly belong to both withdrawn nations, and current WLers. With few exceptions, you can claim any territory you wish. Take into account the geography and descriptions of the geocultural regions above, to find what is most fitting to the concept of your nation. PM me and I'll reserve the area for you. I'm also more than happy to answer any of your questions and give advice.
There is no hard limit on how big or small a nation can be, as long as you're not trying hardcore imperialism.
NSC is farily liberal when it comes to worldbuilding. Current nations range from medieval fantasy, to realistic, to futuristic.

Can I get a teritory for my nation Neajlovia? I already took part in NSC 52 and NSC 53 and I'm curently on the waiting list for re-joining the contest.

Hi Guys! I'm in NSC now! May I be placed on the map? Xhanostania is called the land of lakes and rivers. Will the country map of mine be similar description of Xhanostania itself?

Yes, you will be placed on map when I update it. For info about time of update keep on reading.

Heads up y'all though! Next update will be a major one with some brand new info added to first post. I might contact you for some additional information about your country, so keep that in mind as well. Update will happen when I obtain all needed info. =)

I can only place you where there is free space. That is unless you make a deal with country which has territory you want.

And let me repeat once again: Waiting list countries will be placed on map once they are able to send their debut entry. WL country(ies) in question will be contacted, regarding any territory questions or issues, by me as soon as that happens. =)

I actually already edited some parts of the map and removed your country. heh I'm really sorry, but I'll give you your location back once you are able participate again. Is that okay?

Don't worry, Freak. I do read your posts, and what you wrote. I was just thinking if you had a more specific answer. Will it be tomorrow, next week or next month? I'm just curious, you know. It's okey if you can't answer though.

You're doing a great job with the map by the way, it's certainly a high class job. Keep it up!

It doesn't have to mean you'll become an island. You get the territory of country which withdrew and enabled you to enter. If let's say, for example, landlocked country such as Zoidiac withdrew you would get their territory. However if an island country like New Acadia withdrew you would get an island territory. But if you don't want your country to be an island and no other territories are available, I will negotiate with one of countries on continent to either swap places or give you a part of their territory. Am I making any sense here? XD

I can't really specify date of update as that depends on people I will contact for some information. When they all provide it, I will make an update. =)

Thanks for the information, now I get it. When it comes to Retroland, I would actually prefer it not to be an island. I'm not sure where I want to be settled, but perhaps up north somewhere. And remember, it doesn't have to be a big piece of land.
