OH ffs why they just cant release it already. it is only us, hardcore fans, that really care about it. It is such a integral part of the eurovision season, where we discuss who got screwed over or who makes it to the final thanks to the draw, please SVT Release it already so we can analyse

They usually release it early. If they haven't released is probably because something went wrong. Maybe as someone suggested already the order wasn't approved by the reference group or something.

Indeed... it is really something fishy with the draw now, I can't understand how they could say a date and then change it (and no I don't think that announcement was a april fools joke, just cause it came on April 1st)... I just wonder what though...

They should simply go back to the only fair and unflawed system: Make a RANDOM draw!
You can already tell that there is something fishy going on, probably some national broadcasters unsatisfied with SVT's choice and want it changed... this is what you get if you introduce a flawed corrupt system.
Honestly, just return to the old draw system or introduce a draw with tempo/genre pots to create a mixed show without the flaws of a chosen draw... this would be the best solution and a win-win for both purposes.

I wonder how much time it will take to get back to random draw tbh. To me, the new changes in terms of voting are kind of a proof that the "juries-have-to-rank-all-songs" rule - introduced in 2013 and increasing the juries' power - wasn't working in their favor. So they may as well bring back the random draw system we had before: in less than 20 minutes, we would have the actual order of the semis.
I don't understand why it would take so long to reveal a draw if it wasn't to satisfy the desires of a handful of broadcasters, sadly... Once again, some countries will be thrown under the bus in one way or another, because they are considered irrelevant and thus aren't consulted when making decisions (like San Marino and most Eastern European countries regarding the new voting rules).
Anyway, I was becoming excited about tomorrow... We'll have to wait longer then.
edit: I'll hope they'll come up with the draw of the grand final more rapidly

if they just did a random draw like they used to then none of this messing would happen and the producers wouldn't be able to fix it to the way they wanted it..

If they really want to prevent the same kind of songs to be clustered in the running order, they just should make a running order and draw the country who has to perform first, which can be all of the participating countries in the semi.

They literally have one night to decide the running order for the final, as the dress rehearsals start the afternoon after. And so far they've always been able to make it without any problem.
