:au: 13th

Even though I still think the running order isn't THAT important as most of the ESC fans think it is.

I don't know the criteria how to judge this order now. Ukraine 21st, between Latvia and Malta. Is that good?

Yeah, not only because it really hurts us, but I'm sure there were many other songs to pair both entries and make them stand out more

Belgium first, Czech Republic second, Netherlands third.

Whatever it is that SVT is smoking, someone get rid of it before they end up doing something else stupid :(

Australia just after Poland which had a weak performance in the semifinal... Even though I think runnng orders are not that important, there are reasons to think that Australia will shine even more.
A big fave to take it all IMO

Armenia massive winners from that draw. 4 mediocre songs before them and they close the show like Italy last year. Armenia must have done very well in the semi.

Someone better hire Jimmy Jump to hop in during Iveta's performance with Nagorno-Karabakh flag, because it seems that's the only way to stop her. :?
I do think that Australia will win... we've had 2 male winners in a row, this year I think it will be a female performer. ^^

I'm quite happy with the draw personally. A lot of my favourites spread evenly out and I think its quite mixed up in terms of sound. Not going to complain.

I disagree: it won't be a surprise at all. Not after watching Iveta's performance on the 1st semi.

I would be a surprise based on expert's views and betting odds. But of course performance wise it wouldn't be a shock.

Looking at the top 6 in the odds and their draws:

Russia in between Croatia and Spain, both bottom 10 in the odds
Australia in between Poland and Cyprus, both bottom 10 in the odds
Ukraine gets the 21st spot. After Latvia which is 14th in the odds but ranked ahead of it on iTunes at the moment. Before Malta who is 7th in the odds and has a strong Swedish connection but currently flopping on iTunes
France in between Germany and Poland, both in the bottom 10
Sweden in middle of Bulgaria and Germany, both bottom 11 odd wise
Armenia closing the show like last years televoting winner but after the UK which is 12th in the odds and has their own strong momentum. Song is also flopping on iTunes at the moment and even the UK, charting only in the UK and Czech republic, is ranked above it according to esctracker. Austria performing two spots ahead is doing FAR better on iTunes at the moment.

It will be interesting to see what happens to Ukraine and Armenia. I think those two are question marks despite the fanboy orgasms this past week. France looks okay following non-starter Germany but if Amir struggles vocally he could be crushed by Michał who is doing okay on iTunes and has great vocals and Polish diaspora on his side. The others are predictable Bjorkman

Your analysis is fine, except you are focusing way too much on the charts.
