Is that really what Sweden have picked as their entry this year? Of all the entries that featured in Melodifestivalen 2018 the past few weeks, was that really the best entry among them? I've watched the live performance of "Dance You Off" and I don't think much of it. Admittedly I didn't bother trying to watch Melodifestivalen 2018 Final tonight (let alone previous weeks) online from the UK, so I've no idea what else Benjamin Ingrosso - "Dance You Off" was up against, but to me this seems a somewhat weak effort compared to the Swedish entries the last few years. Come on Sweden, you can do better than this.

I want to like this comment but it includes a negative remark about Italy. Please edit that out bit or forever live with the terrible knowledge that you have missed out on a hot Zobo-like.

Very well. It's not like songs I can't be arsed to think about are at a premium this year.

I see a lot of hate is coming because of his voice. If he were singing a big ballad, I would understand, but this is very much the opposite. I understand that it gets annoying, but I don't think people are appreciating Ingrosso's talent in being able to sing so high for such a long time. He's definitely no Cezar, but giving 0 points to this song seems too harsh IMO.

Curious how this is gonna sound without pre recorded backing vocals in Portugal, and whether it's gonna sound even weaker than Robin?

Shit show, predictable voting system and a bang average winner. Sweden need wholesale changes for next year.

5 points.

Lol. Another shallow manufactured pop song with a good looking young male. Take out the lights and the special effects and what's left is absolutely nothing. So fake, so generic, looks like they've run out of options.
Hope it won't qualify...but who am i kidding, that doesn't seem like a plausible scenario.

If they can bring this staging to Lisbon, it might be another top 5 for Sweden. The staging would stand out even more than in other years due to the lack of LED screens this year. Probably all that the lack of LED screens will lead to is that countries that bring their own tech with them have an advantage. The song itself is okay and sounds modern.
I give it 12 points.

This is exactly one of the things that's annoying now, richer broadcasters (like Sweden, Russia) can consistently do well partly because they can stage big effects, but others who may not have the money but in some years have better songs just won't do well. It isn't a song contest, it's more one about stage effects.

Oh my. I didn't follow Melodifestivalen so I had no idea what to expect and... I did't really have any entry I would enjoy hating on this year but I guess this is going to be it!! Honestly if I had only heard the song I wouldn't have cared much about it, it doesn't really sound bad. But it's the whole performance what I can't stand. To me it's not only gimmicky, it's also messy and boring (he just repeats the same routine the whole time??). Plus his voice is awful, the only tolerable parts are the chorus in which I don't thing he is even singing! And what's
the deal with that jacket and that side stares at the camera?? Just awful.

Amyway, this is obviously expected to do quite well at the contest, but I hope to god Mikolas shows the audience and this guy that real attitude and a good song are better than any gimmicky neon lights and leaves this entry outside the top 10. Sweden's position is sure to be one of the highlights of the night for me this year, for bad or for good. My rate is a 4 because as I said the song is really not to blame.

0 pts and I hope Sweden fails to qualify so they can make some major changes in Melodifestivalen song selection.
Horrible, horrible song.

a pure plastic pop music with a lot of thoughts into the staging, this is genius.

I genuinely like this, this is just a song, with a guy loving his moment in front of neon lights. It's catchy, it has a bridge, a chorus, a cool melody. That's the substance of this song : it's not trying to be anything else than what it is. it's simple and basic.
It feels more sincere to me than others acts that may be trying so hard to convey things and are dead on arrival. And thank god for that staging, that's gonna be a relief between all those serious acts "I'm-alone-and-I'm-an-artist-and-i'm-singing-about-very-serious-things-those-are-real-instruments-and-feelings-in-my-song-this-is-real-music-this-is-me"

An unsurprising and uninspiring win. The song itself is OK, a bit of a grower for me actually. I've found myself humming along and enjoying it. But it's another Swedish case of style over substance. Sadly, I think Benjamin has a shot of winning the whole thing this year given how open the field is. I could easily see the juries putting this number 1 and the televote enjoying it as well. It's not a song I want to win, but then again neither were the last two winners.

6 points for now

I'm surprised RainyWoods likes it.
Maybe those that gave this a 0 should reconsider under these circumstances. xthink

Naaaaaah…I hope Sweden really changes smth..this and last year it is very similar entry and really without quality and substance…MF is weaker and weaker every year too..I hope will be better next year…

Renaida looked fantastic this evening, even better than in semi..i wish she has won..

5 in the poll...I like the moves...and vocal is interesting at least...
