People calling this crap don’t like the mainstream top lists then. You don’t have to like it, but you can’t deny it has a quality to it. It’s the child of Daft Punk, Justin Timberlake and The Weeknd
Exactly, the mainstream top lists are crap too. It's all production and no quality substance there as well.

And can we please talk about Mariette getting lower points than Renaida in the televote? :D

And Mendez finishing last overall but 3rd in the televoting?

Finaly CrapFest 2018 is over. Awful season with bunch of just bad songs and crap winner for the end.
And it is really sad that this shit called song will take place in final to some good entry. I really hope its right time for Sweden to stay in semi

Of course 0 in poll

Won't happen! I'm quite sure the juries will again favor Swedish overproduced plastic-pop, that's the trend nowadays.

The exact word would be rip-off, not "child". A child is something that lovers get after cuddling a lot.

When you're older I'll explain to you how it really works but cuddling doesn't make babies, even if you do it a lot.

That's true. The pop charts are boring as hell and SVT always thinks ripping off the charts is a cool idea for Eurovision.

I’m sorry, but I have never believed in the idea of there being objective ”quality” music and ”trash” music. I think it’s just strong feelings of feeling left outside when what is mainstream isn’t your cup of tea. I think quality music can be described by every song that an artist truly believed in and spent thought to.

Probably said before but this is just "I can't go on 2.0". It will qualify for sure and probably make it to the top 5. For uptempo, however, I'd prefer Shuffla. Not only it is swedish, but also would've been stuck in head much easier for the audience.

ICGO is miles above this... ICGO had rhythm & melody...

No, I don't. Your nick implies "Real Estonian". You could pretending to be German, while you are an expat Estonian, right?

Anyways, Estonians keep saying the nicest things about Sweden, they are gloating about Sweden's winning chances, while the rest of Europe is fuming and puking their guts out. I don't get it.

Funny. In 2015 I just heard how apparently we are all just hating on Sweden because we think Elina & Stig are the only ones good enough  Stop your delusions. I don't get your point either because there's no logic in it. Some people just like the song.

I like Benjamin, he is charismatic, sells the hell out of this song, but the song itself... it's catchy at first, but it's a little too repetitive.

6 points: decent, I'm not bothered if I listen this again, but I can't say it's among my favorites.

Because the juries are full with record label delegates, who have to promote plastic music. Of course Sweden (and Australia) with their radio-friendly elevator music, are taken good care of.

Everyone hates pop radio, because they keep playing the same songs over and over without taking into consideration the taste of the people but the money of the record labels. For most, music feeling, but for some, music is just an industry.

BTW, you can dislike this song...I mean I do (I admit the Staging is slick) but still acknowledge that this will probably do well at Eurovision. My personal taste does not dictate the outcome....although I wish I had that power.

I can see a 2017 repeat as far as scoring is concerned. It is going to do really well with the juries and decent with the televoters. So I expect a Top 10 in Lisbon.......now let me go back to disliking this song, it really feels good.

Funny. In 2015, an Estonian juror in Melodifestivalen gleefully announced 12 points for Heroes and how Sweden would win again. It was like his personal dream came true.

It's meant to be a funky kind of song, but what annoys me is that really (just like the Norwegian one) it's just about the staging, lighting and effects. A solid melody and arrangement does nothing now without a load of effects behind it. That's why a decent melody can finish last in a heat and this one win.
