You can't expect this thread to be a bubble for fanwank, and everybody to be focused on the songs we like only... those who don't like it have the same right to participate than those who support and like it, that's the idea of the forum.

I don't need a bubble for fanwank, I can wank for myself, thanks. I just don't want MY ESC season ruined due to the haters, I don't think it's too much to ask... As well as I didn't ruin Manel's or Ruth's season to this fans, or as well as I don't go to the Czech thread to throw bullcrap to their entry (which I can't stand AT ALL). Let everyone enjoy this wonderful contest. It's called RESPECT.

Poor quality? Most of the Spanish singers and most of the ESC ones would need to live at least twice to have Amaia's or Alfred's qualities (and I'm not a special fan of Alfred myself). They are not just singers. They are complete musicians, they play several instruments, they compose, they have a music background and culture well above average.... And that's what gives them a special sensitivity when they sing that makes everything they do beautiful, especially for Amaia.
And product overhyped by the media???? They are getting #01 on iTunes every week, people are BUYING their music every week, people are even buying the original songs which were unknown of forgotten. You need much more than an overhyping to get this ;)

Amaia and Alfred might have musical education, fair enough... but that doesn't really do anything to me. She is lame, boring, average singer with a voice I have heard in many karaokes. He is annoying, plastic, not natural... This is of course a matter of taste. While they are highly educated in arts and music, that doesn't guarantee their quality. I reckon they are popular and many people believe they are great, good! I don't. The media has helped as well, They are just pop products, overhyped by a programme that based its success in nostalgia for the first season. The whole media campaign was focused in the phenomenum it was in 15 years ago. It's just pure marketing to me. They are not exceptional artists, they are just disposable tv characters enjoying their momemtum. Not gonna make a list of poor quaity songs/artists who made #01 on iTunes and even won a Grammy.

According to Prinz Blog, this is the song that their readers like the least by far.

Another performance from the last episode of OT tonight. Much better one I must say, they can also use that idea in Lisbon since this year's stage will have two stairs ;)

EDIT: Too late xoscar

Well I liked that performance more than the one from the eurovision night. I don't like Alfreds voice much, but Amaia has one that is suited perfectly to this song. I really hope they're still together come May. :? Imagine them having to do this performance after a bitter break up.

Still one of my least favourites. Far too saccharine and whiny for me. Will end up most likely in another forgettable place.
Sorry Spain :(

Highly unusually I think the best one one. Song and performance sound fine. Although I have liked a couple of Spanish entries a lot in recent years, Pastora Soler and Edurne, so maybe this is one place that does pick decent winners more often.

That last performance for OT is a great improvement of the staging, much better than the one presented before: they got rid of the piano! Good! However, my personal main issue against this entry is Alfred, his voice and his faces just annoy the hell out of me. He doesn't look neither sound natural, he tries too hard. Amaia however is the opposite, don't get anything from her, she's just there with a cute karaoke voice... BUT she has improved in this performance, I can see there is a team working with them. The song is not bad actually, the melody is kind of lullaby-ish which is nice, lyrics are cheesy and cliche but luckily many people won't understand it.

For now I will upgrade it from 2 to 4 xcheer

WTF I don't get how anyone likes this song. I'm all for Spain every year, but they sure like to F{{{ it up. Either of Aitana's songs would have worked. She has charisma, but like last year, it was rigged for Amaia to win. The song is not horrible, but it's soooooo boring.

I also have to admit, I can't really see what's so great about the song or the staging. For me they come across very uneasy and static. The melody is nice, but not memorable and Alfred's voice sounds quite weird at times. I'm happy for those who enjoy this, but for me, it's rather a skip-entry on my iPod.

This is such a snooze, unfortunately I see Spain in bottom 5 again.

Sending this is definitely a bad decision, I still can't believe Europe won't witness Lo Malo and it's summer hit potential. Oh well.
