Ehm? It's not a singing contest, it's a song contest, the whole package counts really...

I think you do realize the difference between such a song and an entry like this? You judge them on different aspects simply... if you can't even do an easy, boring ballad remotely good vocally, you don't deserve to qualify... I mean you shouldn't qualify with a bad song regardless, but at least if it was performed well you could at least argue that you could get some support based on the performance at least.

You're entitled to support whatever entry you want, but when you say the reason juries would fail her is because of Russia and not because of the elephant in the room (=bad performance, bad vocals, bad song), then I dunno what to think. Surely, whether the song is bad or not is objective, but the rest the juries will obviously be painfully aware of.
