The only thing I'm f***ing, is stupid
Surely it's a mere coincidence, that the Greek jury comes to the conclusion that the entry from Cyprus has the best quality. EVERY.SINGLE.YEAR.
And quite funny that the Greek entry almost always is the quality favourite of the Cyprus jury.
(Just an example, it's easy to find lots more of those strange coincidences.)

Ohh yes! The Cyprus jury though ''Utopian Land'' was a poetic representation of pure art and the jury decided this one to will be the winner over trash like ''1944'' and "J'ai cherché".

For serious, EBU selects random people with some experience within music who are as much ''human'' as the televoters. Even if some individuals have saved some songs from doom like ''Et s'il fallait le faire'' and ''Quédate conmigo'', but yet again these are ballads of a similar kind which and the juries overlook good songs with bad spots in the running order as much as the televoters. EBU needs to do more reforms how the process of selecting juries are done and get rid of the current issues within it, if they care enough...

WOW! Looks like they decided to hand over the chorus to the back vocals. A GREAT IDEA! Now it finally sounds very good!
This could qualify, guys

You can see the wheels on the mountain. :? What mountain has wheels.... couldn't they have covered them up. :? :?

Edit: it sounds better with the backing vocals picking up the main chorus but I'm still not a fan of how it sounds overall, even with them somewhat masking her.

It was very likely they are going to mute her in chorus, but I can barely hear her after chorus as well. I like the song, but I think this is a little bit too far.

This is awful. The disonance amongst the voices in the chorus really makes me cringe. I wonder if the delegation hear that too or if they think that all is fine, as it really doesn't sound pleasant to my ears at all. I wanted to enjoy this song, but these vocals are making it virtually impossible ;)

Why send Julia to Lisbon if you hide her all ways? Hide wheelchair, put her into mountain, put this mountain deep on thr stage and now hide her vocals

Distract and cover her further with two dancers that add nothing.

Even if I still believe this will do well because Russia is pretty much jury-proof, I'm excited about the thought of record-breaking statistics being written down in the history books that country no.1 of diaspora and allies being nonqualified this year. xpopcorn

What would you have her done in her wheelchair for some visual action?

Eh. The song doesn't need dancers or her spinning about on stage doing flips. The dancers are distracting from the centre of the song and performance which is her. She's singing and all we see is dancers when the cameras should be focusing on her. It's like they intentionally want to pull away from the full focus being her. Just cut them out completely and send them back to Russia.

I may not agree with Russia politically but Julia deserves to be treated a LOT better than this by the Russian delegation. It's like they are making ZERO effort for her, all very half-assed.

Juries are not doing their job. They should be responsible for eliminating blockvoting and diaspora votes.

Then what is the science for those countries with Diaspora and televoting wasting their SMS money suporting their country, when jury will eliminate them? EBU need more them than jury! If not then they should give the reazon to :ua: in not allowing Yulia participation's last year or even praying :tr: comeback!

Stop thinking that russia can qualify with anything..

someday in the distant future, no country will have a 100% QF streak
