Wouldn't it be something to do with Victory Day?

That rehearsal footage was a disgrace. It's clear they are covering her up as much as possible to not show her disability, while also putting her on a giant structure for people to stare. The whole thing was a very unforgettable watch.

Not to mention the song is even worse now, and she still can't sing. This is the worst entry Russia have ever sent, and it would be appalling for that to qualify.

at least the mountain is memorable.. russia is not kidding
and although her disability prevents her from singing perfectly, i'm still glad she's there and that russia kept their promise...:D

But russia still deserves a slap in the face for censoring ireland (if the news is true) xslap

I know people don't like this....but it's become a bit of a guilty pleasure for me over the last few days. (yeah the live version is a mess but I'm talking about the studio version)

I'd say it's my favourite Russian entry in a long time. (though that wouldn't be hard since Russia isn't a country I usually rate at Eurovision)

So since I like it it'll be the first Russian entry to fail to qualify. You're welcome. :p

The staging (and Julia's singing) is such a mess I can't even take her disability into account :( There are a couple of songs I actually find worse, but this absolutely can't qualify. :(

Yulia seems to be a really likable person and I hope she knows what she's doing and everything will end well for her... I'm definitely not a fan of the song but I really hope that with that staging and her accent it won't end as a laughing stock :(

It's funny how many people seem to be too sensitive about her shaky vocals, but don't care so much about Eleni's poor singing skills (I love Fuego btw, it's just an example)
So, I don't really believe that those eurofans care that much about singing, but the song itself and the country they are from.

"I won't break" is not the worst song ever, not even the worst this year. I agree with many of you, it's just absolutely generic and forgettable, but tbh I wouldn't mind seeing it in the Final.
I just don't get people bullying Yulia because "she can't sing" but at the same time praising other artists with the same issues.
