Sorry to say this, but the mountain being so high doesn't conceal her singing being so low.

It seems Russia is refusing to broadcast the Irish performance due to Putin's anti-gay law. The EBU should act on this and ban Russia from participating next year. After two years of trolling with Yulia Samoylova it would be best to get rid of them completely.

I been trying to find a link to confirm this, but I still haven't. Someone told me that OGAE Russia announced it on their instagram...I can't find that they even have a instagram account, their twitter is basically abandoned and on their website, they are just writing how the rehearsals are going. If you have a confirmation link (maybe a russian source would be the best) then you are more than welcome to put it here, but for now, I say these are lies for now.

Is that true?

Ireland is in the other semi. I don't think Russia is obligated to show that Semi, are they? So the only way this would become an issue is if Ireland qualifies to the final. Honestly, that's as good a reason as any to vote for Ireland this year.

If they censor Ireland's entry then i don't know if it is correct to participate! However maybe everything is just fake news!

I suppose we have to wait how this will play out. I doubt that the Russian broadcaster would confirm censoring Ireland. Has Russia refused to broadcast the other semi live in previous years?

Interesting point: all the people who are reporting from Lisbon say, that the chorus was very off-tune. But in the official snippet it sounded quite all right. Same thing happened last year with Azerbaijan.

From what I heard so far, I feel like they've lowered the key of the song, which I guess is for the better as far as Julia is concerned. Viewers won't notice anyway.

I hope they will show the mic check of Russia on the Eurovision YouTube channel tomorrow. That could be interesting.

Sound guy: "Anything you would like to have changed, Yulia?"
Yulia's translator: "Yes, please mute my mic and set the mics of the backing singers to full power."
