Re: RUSSIA 2018

And I really hope this time she will sing on Russian. Russian is so beautiful and melodic language and it's a pity we can't listen to it more often on Eurovision

Hmmm I'm not sure..her English in "Flame's burning' is really charming, it gives special charm to the song...it will depend on the song actually...

Oh dear :? 'Flame is Burning' was a dreadful song so I hope she doesn't get saddled with something as awful this year. She's practically guaranteed top 5 though

I hope she sings in English again, personally I find her English charming as well. Hopefully something similar (or even better) then her last song

Well, it's funny to read all those comments about Russia winning ESC in Lisbon like it's already done. Because of what?

So maybe just cancel the whole show, because we have a winner.
Winner based on... exactly, what? :)

I doubt this will be anything good again, but who knows, maybe they surprise... Perhaps with an unexpected genre.

Just find me a comment where anybody in here wrote that Russia will win and copy/paste it here.

Thanks. :)

The juries will probably take her down enough so she won't win but she is representing Russia so qualification and top 10 are basically guaranteed

Not sure why the title is updated, we have had zero official confirmation yet. Considering Russia's history with her, I'm taking nothing for granted.

The good news is that if Russia do indeed send her, they have obviously moved most of their focus to 2019 and thus we don't need to worry about them winning this time.

I don‘t believe it until she‘s officially appointed. Russia letting an artist announce that she‘s representing the country seems strange. We have seen how detailed the propaganda plan last year was and how thoroghly it has been executed, so just letting this happen by a manager is not credible. Either she wants to put pressure on channel 1 by doing so or there is some other motive behind from the russian delegation that we‘ll see later.

Some people are still denying reality xfacepalm

Russia would never allow their international image to suffer. Her participation in Lisbon was obvious from the beginning. Now this is not only disabled singer (with message in her song) but also person with a backstory. Now everyone knows that Ukrainian government in 2017 didn't allow her to sing for her country and year later she finally fullfills her dream!.. I expect tons of sympathy votes.

Both her and her manager have confirmed it to various sources so we've updated the title unless anything changes
