very looking forward to tomorrow.

Especially with hopes for Bárbara Tinoco, Cláudia Pascoal and Edmundo Inácio

April and Mimicat can bring good pop songs and in English, I don't know to what extent the jury will support that...

Cláudia Pascoal, should bring something folkloric and traditional this time

Anyway, Tyoz (Barbara Tinoco song co-songwriter) wrote a song for Chanel (Spain 22) new album.

I'm breaking my I'll only follow Eurovision casually this year promise to listen to every single one of these songs. I owe it to one of my favourite Eurovision countries.

In the swimming pool, always stayin' cool
After a quick roundabout, again : FdC is serving us proper music in every sense of the word. Some tracks better than others, but really good selection overall.
Ivandro may be my favourite, what a voice ! I also really enjoyed Inês Apenas, Bolha (who else than FdC could bring us some jazz realness ?) and Esse Povo. I think the only ones i really don't like are Moyah and Lara Li.

My top 3 after a first listen:

:12: Brandua - Bandeiras
:10: Mimicat - Ai Coração
:8: SAL - Viver

In general I'm happy with this year's line-up, there are more genres and more uptempo songs, curious to see how they will be staged

Bárbara Tinoco has the real potential to take a good result in Eurovision. It reminds me a bit of the newest tracks from Talyor Swift.

:12: NEON SOHO
:10: Bárbara Tinoco
:8: Edmundo Inácio

Interesting selection! The first semifinal seems definitely stronger for me. With 5 qualifiers per each, I'd go with (on first listen):
  1. SF1: Churky (isn't he cute or what?!), Claudia Pascoal (lovely!), Neon Soho (interesting), Sal (yeah, why not) and You Can't Win Charlie Brown (it really sounds like Canadian folk - and, in my mouth, it's a HUGE compliment). Esse Pavo and Mimicat not far from the top 5
  2. SF2: Bandua, clear winner. Edmundo Inâcio, clear second. And then: Barbara Tinoco, Teresinha and possibly Inês Apenas.
For the win? It's between Bandua, Churky, Claudia, Neon Soho and YCWCB for me. Live will tell!

I went on holiday to Lisbon last year - a beautiful city.

And as it happens; Portugal's got a very nice selection this year :)

Edmundo Inácio - A Festa
Esse Povo - Sapatos de Cimento
INÊS APENAS - Fim do Mundo
Mimicat - Ai Coração
Neon Soho - Endless World

These five stood out to me the most.

Damn you Portugal.. 💞

I gave 10/10 to 11 songs after first listen, and based on studio versions..

But it is so hard to rank it.. 😱

My top 6 is extremely amazing!!

For now:

1. Lara Li - "Funambula" 10+++/10 😍🤩😪 Gooosh this butchers my soul into tiny pieces..
2. Esse Povo - "Sapatos de Cimento" 10++/10 👌🥰
3. Ivandro - "Povo" 10+/10 💝
4. Bandua - "Bandeiras" 10+/10 💞
5. You can't win, Charlie Brown - "Contraate mudo" 10+/10 😱 this is mesmerizing, if good live can climb on no1 or no2
6. Voodoo Marmelade - "Tormento" 10/10
