Portugal is my favourite Eurovision country with the exception of ESC 2021.

2021 was not that bad... but I agree, its the weakest portuguese entry of the last 5 contests.

2020 was worse though, good thing the contest never happened.

both in my top 15 ;)

Portugal is such an amazing country lately. it's one of those countries along italy and the netherlands, on which you can always rely for sending sth. good.

I hope she will participate. What a voice. She has been around for a long time in several talen shows and colaborations in other artists singles, but has recently been more acknowledged, specially with the cover she has been doing for this youtube channel.

It is going to be another year with the best portuguese composers. Actually, I am kinda sure about Fernando Daniel participation as a composer and lead singer. Gisela João as well.

Aurea was deemed to big to compete in FdC as well though so you never know.

I guess... but I know exactly two songs from Aurea and shes virtually unknown outside Portugal while Gisela is touring internationally, i saw her not so long ago in berlin.
Regardless, I hope Gisela competes, its good to have a big name every now and then.

After Carolina Deslandes and Aurea, there is no impossible names.

I'm very exited to see Cláudia Pascoal back as I think she has grown a lot as a performer, also exited for the possibility of having Bateu Matou in the competition.
In general is seems it will be a very diverse year, but sadly we don't know the songs yet, so, as every year, some fan favorites may bring some bland songs and flop, while unknown artists can conquer both the judges and public.
