Actually, they did, in 2002. They had a guaranteed place, but they withdrew, resulting in Latvia taking their place.

Because he is absolutely horrible. If Portugal returns it has to be with a great song, and Im sure he wouldnt be the one making it.

I just gave the news to my mom and she said "whatever". Sadly this is the opinion of most portuguese people about eurovision

Ohh well all my Portuguesse-Venezuelans friends are sad with this news.. in other part also the Spanichs were are too sad, cause no more 12 free points to them But i was expect since Europe still in crisis..

Also with out: Less point to Ukraine, Romania, Russia, etc... in finals..
