Re: Possible Hosts for 2013

Do you remember how the contest opened in 2000 in Stockholm ? Maybe Loreen can do something like this lol :D

Opening Eurovision Song Contest 2000 Stockholm [Intro HD] - YouTube

THAT would be amazing and I'd love to see that. The opening of 2000 still gives me the chills.

Back to the topic this thread was meant for, I'd like to see Dirawi, Zelmerlow, and Dawn Finer present it. Although I'm sick of three hosts, one always seems to be a surplus host (Nargiz in 2012 and Judith in 2011), so perhaps maybe just Dirawi and Zelmerlow.
Then again, speaking purely from what would work brilliantly, the combined sharp wit and showmanship of Gina Dirawi and Bjorn Gustafsson would be something amazing for the whole of Europe.
So yeah, Gustafsson and Dirawi.

Then again, Annika Andersson might also do well too.

Re: Possible Hosts for 2013

Can we just drop Dirawi out of the picture once and for all? For the sake of Sweden's reputation... like I argued on the other page, this should be a welcoming show and not with a host which openly spread hate (she is free to hate all she wants, but since she openly stated it I think she should automatically be out of the picture).

Anyways, we'll see what SVT has in store for us, I expect the worst

Re: Possible Hosts for 2013

Out of all the names that I have been mentioned, I think that Sarah Dawn Finer is the only one I can say I definitely want to see hosting. I am a bit unsure about Gina Dirawi, but I'd be okay with she being a part of it, but a bit on the sidelines. Maybe just doing the greenroom interviews or stuff for the web, something like that. I suppose Måns Zelmerlöv would be alright too, but IMO, he's a bit of an empty suit. And I would not like to see Victoria Silvstedt hosting, because I'm definitely not a fan of her hosting style, and she looks just plain awful after those plastic surgeries which ruined her face and made her look 10 years older.

Måns Zelmerlöw looks like Eric Saade. Some people might think he is Eric Saade when see him on TV.

If people are blind perhaps, because they look nothing alike...

Being both Scanians, you'd think they speak the same dialect though, but the terrible Lundisika cannot really be compared to the fine Helsingborgiska! ;D

I hate Lundensiska!!! It's fake Scanian, it's a fake accent made up by people who are ashamed of their actual accents. So yup, Saade wins the accent fight for sure... and I think he wins the looks fight aswell although Zelmerlöw is also a good looking fella :)

Yes, you're right - Lundensiska of course! :D Nothing beats the southeast though (Veberöd/Simrishamnsmål)!

Re: Possible Hosts for 2013

Oh God no, take that Hamas supporter away from my TV screen once and for all. Is the author high on something or just lacks logical thinking? How could someone comparing Israel with Nazi-Germany help changing the image of the anti-semitic city Malmö? In fact this will just make us (Sweden) look even MORE anti-semitic and just strengthen that image even further.

Nuff with the hippe arguments surrounding ESC 2013, they (SVT) got their beloved "multi-culti" Malmö as a host (funny since most of the decision makers surrounding this project lives far away from Malmö in upper-class isolated parts of Stockholm)... enough is enough! Time to make the best out of the disaster now, and adding her to the mix surely is not helping. But they have their agenda clear, wouldn't surprise me if they pick her now... they simple want the whole show to be a provocation.

I hate the oikophobia presented in that blog- article aswell, the notion that everything NOT Swedish is good, and everyone Swedish is just boring and tired shines through... in their "diversity" it's obvious that Swedes are not welcomed... *yawn* so much for "diversity"? Always when I read the word "diversity" argued in Swedish media or some PC- sources (like this one), it excludes Swedes and quite frankly most parts of the world aswell.

I mean this article could make SOME sense if the writer in the meantime argued that Sarah (Jewish) would also take the stage, but the conclusion was simply = Gina should be there because she is "Palestinian" and therefor it will be diverse... ehm ok?

Re: Possible Hosts for 2013

Another tip for Eurovision 2013 host is:

nourelrefai.jpg

Nour El-Refai (24), actress and comedian from Lund, near Malmö. Nour participated in Melodifestivalen 2008 and has made some spectacular TV shows (Raj raj - TV4) together with Cecilia Forss.

Maybe SVT should let Danny Saucedo host so he can stop going for Melodifestivalen. Then again I don't think I could take three nights of his accent.
