I'm glad to hear there will only be 1 host, it's what I suggested earlier. 3 hosts are superfluous and they don't add anything.

But this one host needs to actually be good to move everything along. For example, I don't think any of the Azeri hosts could do it alone because they all lacked charisma and personality.
But someone like Anke could present the show on their own (and in a way she did in 2011).

I really don't get the fuss about Anke. She is as dry and forced and seemed very eager just to get through all three evenings. At least Nadia Hasnaoui presented the votes with a smile on her face.

Anyone like Renars Kaupers or Marie N would be amazing tho, or possibly even Maria Efrosinia, just shouting everything.

While I also don't get the fuss about Anke, I don't get your comment about Nadia? She was so stiff I can't even start, one of the worst hosts of the past years.

Since there's only going to be one host next year, there's only one clear choice in my opinion.

Happy to hear there will be only one host: less emphasis on the presenters/hosts - and more on the artists and songs! It will be quite a responsability though... for that one person!

Sarah Dawn Finer is really the only logical choice for me as well. She's fun, classy, professional and most importantly: she speaks English fluently!

But I'd honesly be ok with (almost) anyone SVT would cough up, as long as it isn't Malin Olsson, Rickard Olsson or Marie Serneholt - who all seem to be SVT's go-to people when it comes to hosting these days. Or Christine Meltzer.

I definitely agree. I don't get what was so great about Anke either. Like you said, she was just as forced as any of the others and the German presenters were just as embarrassing to watch as any of the others have been.

Exactly. There's also a certain gravitas about her as well. She's a serious and professional host, who manages to be funny and entertaining without acting like a complete fool.

With a single host in mind Sarah would be best especially if she starts practising speaking french now. I hated listening to the attempts whoever it was among the azeri hosts who did the french. On a average year I can clearly hear and understand what they are saying french - this year it was just mumbo jumbo.

Now Aftonbladet is reporting that SVT has already made the decision to make Kristian Luuk the host. T() Let's just hope that they're completely wrong about this.

Well Aftonbladet has often been wrong about a lot of things. They handle rumors as facts or make stuff up most of the time.

But if this is true, I would be totally fine with Kristian Luuk because I love his sense of humor. I know he's not to everyone's taste though.

Possibly lack of experience and solo hosting a show watched by 100 million is much different than one watched by only a few million.
