I can't see it pulling through on both the Jury and Televote. I can't decide which, but I think it'll fail dramatically on one of them.

Someone said on Twitter that people were deluded to believe in the fact that France or Estonia might win. What about Norway then?

It's perhaps the chorus. This step one, step two thing where he pretends to give a recipe for a good song and then basically says - like it. That's the part that puts me off. This might be the reason I don't want this to win.

And that‘s.....

... what I love most about the song! It‘s funny, a joke. Teasing people who wait for his „recipe“ for a song (he didnt even claim it has to be GOOD!)... and then going all „bitch please, calm down, who cares about a complicated song when the only thing to do is having fun!“
That‘s the joke: writing a song means you don’t need a skill to write. The main thing is, keep a catchy phrase or melody in your head and don’t think too much about it.

Come on! Don‘t tell me people really expect a thesis or manual about how to REALLY write (compose) a song... and get disappointed.

By the way: I know how you feel, I really hate the winners of 2016 & 2017 but hey, I had to live with it. Maybe this year a song that I like will win (the only time this happened to me this decade were 2014 & 2015 so it’s really time again ;-))... but if not, of course you get mad but life goes on and so does this year and next year will be another Eurovision. So stay strong and deal with it! ;-P

No, no, nothing of it. He will flop, I see already!

Wow, you can see the future? Can you give me the lottery numbers? I'll need the money to make my trip to Oslo next year.

Sure, a serious recipe would be deadly boring, but this attitude seems so random for me, and I‘m not sure he really is joking . But that‘s speculation.

Btw I don‘t hate the song, as I wrote earlier, I find it enjoyable, but it‘s not a winner for me. But even then I wouldn‘t go mad if he did win.

I truly wonder about the hate it gets here. I myself don't actually think it is a winner song, but it could surely be in top 10. I really believe that it's not a song alone that wins. It's the staging and the Charisma of a Person. And in this aspect Rybak does well. One of my fave songs this year is Estonia, but she sort of seems a little cold on stage. In this perspective Rybak has a great connection to the audience. And that is more than relevant. Some called his staging childish, but I would call it being full of life and wanting to bring joy to the audience. Even when I doubt that he will be the winner, I hope he does well! :D

Rybak is really good on stage but not the reason for the hate of course. The reason is the terrible song he wrote!

He is answering a letter of a little girl...

Honestly the hate and hysteria.... I'm actively rooting for him to win now. just for reaction of the fans lol
