I deeply hope that  won't end up in the top 15 or any further. This wouldn't be deserved at all compared to other way better entries. :(

Part of me not only wants Israel to not win (that in itself would cause SO MUCH DRAMA) but wants Rybak to be the winner.

OH BOY, my inner troll would be so delighted.

I would love it to end dead last. Alexander has become a parody of himself.

my excitement for eurovision is at its peak.. i've been replaying this for half an hour with no breaks today xheya

This song is a mix of my favorite entries from the past years (in one way or another)
I can literally smell cheesecake, still in love with you, i'm a joker, cake to bake, fairytale, yodel it,love love peace peace..in it:mrgreen:

..and many other songs i'm afraid to name, because i'm probably the only one who sees similarities, but trust me when i tell you: they were all high on my listxheat

I'm sorry, but every thing you posted there is purely opinion. You aren't trying to be objective about this song's chances. Your feelings on the song are well known, and that is cool. But we are predicting here, and transferring all the reasons you dislike the song onto a prediction of why it won't do well isn't the best way to figure out the right result. If I did that with my betting last year, I would have lost a fair chunk of cash.

Haha are you serious? You're acting like Miss World being totally fair and objective about everything.... That's definitely not the case ;) I really can't see why your comments might be more objective and reasonable than mine!

And in fact prediction always is the same as opinion to a certain point! It's considering why a certain song might do well or not... And that is totally based on personal assessment combined with lessons learned from previous Eurovision editions!

And believe me or not, my comment was based on the opinion I got from the friends which I showed the song to... I surely can acknowledge a songs potential even if I personally hate it, so don't worry about that... In Rybaks case a top 10 result seems possible to just because it's Rybak and he knows how to sell his product. I definitely can't see it winning though like you did... That's all I wan't to say about it for now, I'm tired about arguing with you... Let's just wait for the actual result.

Unless your name‘s Jonny Logan, you will nothing but fail if you‘ve already won the competition and try a second time. The result will probably be worse, plus, you will always be compared to your previous song/performance.
Let‘s be honest: Fairytale was epic (to me it‘s THE best Eurovision winner ever) and it‘s very hard to be more successful. You won‘t expect Loreen delivering Euphoria 2.0. You can‘t be better than that.
So Alexander does the smartest move one can do in this situation: going on stage, having fun - because it‘s a fun song. If you don’t win with this - it just doesn’t matter. That’s what I like about this entry the most. The easiness and his charme, it‘s just lovely. And funky, danceable at the same time. Thrilling performance, almost theatrical. That‘s what people want to see. Breathtaking, because it‘s so fast. You get up from the chair.
I wish him all the best. I wouldnt mind at all if he wins although he‘s „just“ my no 4 on my top list.

He will be soon in the top 5 of the odds. I don't hate him, really, but who is betting on him, what is wrong with those people's minds?! Do they really expect this to win, when we have soooo many amazing songs this year?! I am even ok with this being top 5, if it must, but winning- hell nooooooo!

Just look on esctips.com or sofabet.com
A lot of people fancying both Australia and Norway this year. Some of them are are quite big hitters, so this can have a huge impact on the odds. And if everyone is hyping those two acts, others come joining them.
We will see how right they are in the end.

I know I am boring because I love the song, but Sweden is nowhere worse than both of them, and it is doing poorly at the odds. I am confused.

Most comments about Sweden I have read there say that Sweden got a great staging, but a very weak song. They think it could do top 5 with juries, but they expect less points from televoters than Robin Bengtsson had.

About Rybak some of them think he could landslide the televote while being top 5 with juries.

Robin's song was weaker, for me. And Rybak's song is weaker than DYO, too. If I Were Sorry by Frans was considered even weaker in fandom, and it did better than Robin in the televote. Fans trashed it, but he still managed to be top 3 at the odds. So I am still confused. And Eleni's song is also weak, but she has performance.

While many People seem to dislike this, it is actually a grower for me. I disliked it myself in the beginning, it was in my bottom of the list and now it keeps sneaking into my top 10.
