I know it's a mortal sin to admit to like Alexander around here but... I can't help it!

It's cheesy? OH GOD, YES! But... it's my kinda cheesy, like Hall & Oates or Cher; the song it's catchy as hell, Rybak knows how to sell the performance, I cannot help myself to smile.

Yes... 12 points. Sorry... I can totally understand why others with way better taste than me (for real) dislike this, but... I just like what I like.

Hell ... I agree. What an evening! Sweden terrible and now this. I actually like the funny side of Rybak, but the song is just ... no. For the sake of funniness I give him two Points, but I am truly disappointed.

That's How You Troll Eurovision, the song! I think it's hilarious how one of the most beloved ESC winners of all time comes back with a song like this. It really is surreal. And the fact he put absolutely everything into the performance made me enjoy it. I'm confused as to whether he's being serious here or not (something tells me he actually is serious) but it's just fun to watch and experience the polished hot mess of it all. Take a little bit of San Marino 2012, a dash of UK 2015 and finish it off with the showmanship of his winning 2009 entry, and you've got Norway 2018. It's so darn puzzling but i'm so curious here. What's going to happen for Rybak? That spark is still there. I saw it tonight and it's infectious. The song though is like a parody.

Anyway, 7 points for Norway.

Rybak seems to be the Trump of Eurovision... "oh, he can't win the NF"... "alright, he won't make it to the grand final"... "Oh, c'mon, he can't win the grand final"...

...alright, TERRIBLE example, BUT...

...I don't know, say whatever you want about the cheesiness and the quality of this product, but, so far, most of the songs are pretty decent but not outstanding, and something as... "bold" as this could make an impression.

No, he won't win again, but if you take your average "semi final recap", yeah, this stands out.

Well, congrats to Alexander Rybak. I obviously strongly dislike the song, who would have thought that this talented artist (yes, I think he is very talented) would put forward something so cheap that belongs in the 50s? But at least he'll bring a lot of attention to the contest and that's what the Norwegians want then so be it.

It pains me to put him at the bottom of my ranking, but it has to happen. My first 0 pointer in the poll this year...dang.

There is not much differences behind the lyrics of this song and Fairytale ..... Its simplistic and childish. Maybe some day he grows up. Im sure that will change his songs for the better. However they say Mozart never grew up before he died :?

This is what Eurovision is about, I fucking love this, 3 pure fun minutes on the stage.
I think the juries will tank this pretty hard, but this will be a hit with the televoters. reverse Denmark 2017 in the semi
I give 10 points not 12 simply because Fairytale was much better, but I still love this
