If he really wins - which I doubt - his final performance would be a triumph (maybe being perceived by some as kind of arrogant)
If he looses... the lyrics become very pathetic all of a sudden.
Writing those lyrics is a big risk...

Super boring, another song I don't need to listen again until May.
I think it might struggle to qualify. I doubt people in Europe will vote for Norway just because it's Rybak, he doesn't really have a fanbase like you can find in the ESC bubble, it's the song what matters and this is not a good one.

i'm actually sure that this will qualify and do pretty good. u can't deny rybak is a really likeable performer. that doesn't change my optinion about the song though.

Oh fuck you Norway.

To be frankly serious for a moment now, I wasn't looking forward for him to return if his only goal was to wipe the floor with the contestants. But if he does, at least it's not Sweden and the hosting of Norway's will bookend the decade But really though, I hope it doesn't. I could even take Estonia winning over this winning, really.

So a really not wise decision...

And I'm especially chagrinned for Ringdalen and his two huge posters going to waste after tonight's MGP... but at least it's not too bad for him in Eurovision 2018 anyway as he can stan for someone else than his country, right? ^_^
