It used to have 12 points from me, but it does begin to lose some of its charm over time (although it took a lot more than four listens!) so I can see whence you are coming from.

Both semis aired, double commentary for the final, and now even a pre-show for Eurovision!
Rai has made big leaps towards the ESC, since the 2011 return.

I'm almost tempted to believe that they would also be willing to host it.

This is great news since I know that the contest has not been that very popular in (they even withdrawed a few times during the 80´s and 90´s because of low interest)
