Well different people have different logic. I give 0 points to any song which is unlikely to end up in my top 10 of the year. So that is around 75% of the songs...

well - sort of makes sense. I normally end up with hardly any 0s. And f.ex in 2013 without any 12s either... And most entries between 3 and 7.

Old-fashioned and lame. Not for me. Maybe when Conchita was referred to as Tom in SanRemo might have made me less interested in this Italian entry too.

Mixed feelings with Italy this year: This is undoubtedly a quality song: it's well composed and the voices blend perfectly, but it feels so pre-manufactured, and, to me, it lacks any soul, feels like they're just actors... I'm not really sure if I like it or not, but obviously this one is a huge contender and will probably hit the top 5.

Apart from all that, the guy with the glasses makes me want to punch him on the face, I don't know why

Il Volo won but the song doesn't have to be "Grande Amore". Remember 2012 when Nina Zilli joined San Remo with Per Sempre but she represented Italy with L'Amore é Femmina.

Quality songs deserve good things, y'all. Not exactly my cup of tea with all that dramatic opera-ness, which is a bit icky to me. But they get plus points from me for fantastic music, enchantic verses, amazing voices, yummy looks (), ambition, and for the best language in the world (which I can actually understand a bit of, because I'm learning it). So.. Good job Italy and thank you for these guys!!!

A beautiful song with beautiful lyrics. Better than L'essenziale and La mia citta IMHO.
However, I think it won't be a huge success with the televoters. Top 10 ? Top 15 ? Top 20 ? Who knows ?

Its good and I like that its sang in there language they're all really good singer it's just not my usual sort of music but maybe it will grow on me.

The first WOW song this year. It is just amazing. I really like this sort of thing, and this is really good. I don't know if it will win in May, it's too early to tell, but I think it has capacity for top 3, because it's just that good.

What's with the random Hollywood references in the music video? I get it, it's "grande amore", but why couldn't they just use something Italian instead? As if they didn't have Fellini, Antonioni, Rosselllini, etc...
